wouldn't it be the best PREQUEL ever? and that's an opinion, I think Star Ocean:First Departure has the BEST sequel ever, with the best villain ever, who thoroughly stomps sephiroth in every way. Indalecio/Gabriel is harder to beat (especially Limit Off), he's way more evil (destroys an entire planet, almost destroys entire UNIVERSE, kills one of the main characters father). Way better. But FFVII is pretty good too. Kefka is a better villain too, he succeeds in destroying the world also.

I disagree, the aerith's theme in FF7 is play by an other instrument (piano I think), anf here it's play by guitar. Piano makes feel us sad, because when we listen to this song( in FF7), it's sad. SPOILER

In crisis core FF7 it's really different, because the moment is not sad. So this song makes feel us happy.
