I dont want to waste my life getting virtual gold the "right" way. I want to enjoy the game, and your life is hell of a lot more valuable then money... dont be idiots.
Lol "I spent 12 hrs a day EARNING (lol) my gold, is it fair that someone else can just buy it?" Um absolutely yes. More fair bcs they're out there working, contributing to society.
Wow, I had no idea the founder of WoW radio was such an unbelievable waste of fucking space. Intentionally and continuously robbing innocent people of their living? What a fucking dick. Suddenly i'm glad WoW radio disbanded. Hope he gets a taste of unemployment and is thrown out on the streets like the fuckhead he is.
The problem with gold farming now is the fact that a lot of the companies have converted to bots. And there are so many companies/people running the bots, the game that I play is nearly unplayable. Their was a point when there would be 75k players online and 125k bots online. And there would be training spots that would be completely taken over by bots. It is ruining the game for people who actually play and earn their own money. Too many people are trying to enter the RMT business. If it wasn't
I prefer china gold farmers that play manually instead the botting apocalypse :=]] Really sad for Lineage 2, i have no doubt that when L3 is released the same thing is going to happen...
The guy with the black jacket and white t-shirt is an idiot for calling chess a simple game. And I feel sorry for those farmers for having to work 12 hours a day with a bad salary, just to feed themselves.
@RCWinnipeg They are professional at getting that gold you could say, know all the best areas and mobs to farm. But i think it's wrong they have to do this, but as they say its realy hard to find a job in china and if thats the only option they realy have to bring in the salary to feed them and their family we shouldn't hate them for it.
9:33 made me think, why do we hate them? Sure they're selling PIXELS, but if we were in the same situation we'd expect not even respect, but just a mutual thought that they are players regardless.
wowradio guy obviously has money and lives a comfortable life. you kill the poor farmers who're working their asses off for a salary? sadistic bastard.
keep in mind, back in the day of WoW vanilla, gold farmers actually did play the game to earn money and gold. Now they simply steal accounts and credit cards. THAT actually is a crime. I'm fine with gold farmers simply playing the game, but not when they start to actually steal other people's hard earned money just to sell it to another person.
@Kolll78 - went to his wcradio.com site to see that it has "ceased operations". Haha. Let's interview him again and see if he does his staring-up-at-the-ceiling interview style. Maybe he wasn't a good enough businessguy to understand that in life, philosophy doesn't count for shit. Economics trumps all, even in game worlds. Division of labor naturally occurs, and he who has the most resources wins. the only people who don't like it are the ones not taking part.
and he gets people to camp as they kill all gold farmers, thats sickening. seriously. They need that job to eat food and live. If they get fired. They are homeless and nothing. No one is gonna help them. Its like destroying peoples lifes. In a game.
Is it fair that poor people never have food on the table, but wealthy people can eat all they want? No, its not fair, but it happens. Stop playing so much wow, work more in real life and buy gold. "It;s not fair, It's not fair." the guy with the glasses is such a baby, lol.
I dont have a problem with legit farmers who work for there gold ....I fucking hate the hacker bitches ....those fucks make me wish blizz would IP ban all of china access to the US
to vamp2kx7; if you had a brain to think, you would realize that 'professional gamers' in this context refers to someone who has to work to earn a living in the game. not play like everyone else.
great videos, you've really changed my perspective on gold farmers.
@vampx2k7 In the traditional sense, a "Professional" is someone who gets paid for what they do, while someone may have comparable skills or even skill that exceeds a "Professional", they will still be considered an "Amateur" because they are not getting paid for what they do.
When Lao Liu talks about a communication problem, i know exactly what he is talking about. In world of warcraft before Burning Crusade, players from both factions, the Horde and the Alliance, could talk to each other in 1337 speak. This was much like the cultural divide between English and Mandarin. Horde and Alliance were later prohibited from speaking to each other in 1337 speak a few patches later.
Well.. I see it like this... If they can make a living doing that and they enjoy it.. Let them.. problems like inflation is for Blizzard to fix not players. If it gets to bad Blizzard will fix it.
SWG suffered from massive inflation, the problem is with Auction halls and player based Economies, is the devs have very little interaction, the only ways they can counter in game inflation is to increase drop rates in an attempt to lower cost of items, thus mean overall people make less profit.

Opinion opinion opinion, people judge too often based on what they see. They don't understand the cultural relativism in what people do.

Gold farming is a good example of replacing people with robots. I think 99 percent of gold farmers are bots now, that is a lot of jobs.....
