@dynmicpara im 14 and i bought the woodland camo but same brand

if you just take your tape ( self sticking) and basically turn it inside ( i found out it works with most of these camo designs) if you reverse it inside out it becomes a woodland camo

just thought i could help

So what happens if you just spraypaint your rifle? Do they tell you to re-spraypaint it black or something?

You get into serious trouble and likely have to pay for the replacement cost of the weapon unless you can scrub every last fleck of paint off and it gets returned to a pristine BLACK state. Don't under-estimate the assholes in a corrupt bureaucracy, screwing over the troops is their only "competence".

I guess they trying to prevent soldiers from "pimping their gear" with a myriad of camo patterns and textures and looking like a bunch of 17th century pirates. But your right though, shiny black against ash-tray ACU doesn't sound very fun, let alone safe. They gotta do better. What ever happened to Multi-cam? At least us canucks got it nailed with CADPAT arid, gets alot of good feedback.

i read your description and not a truer word has been said i feel a camo sock (one piece for the main body, one for hand guard etc.) designed for m16/ m4's should be provided... then all the troops have to do is pic the "green" or "tan" side and pull it on!!

Black doesn't actually blend in with anything, it sticks out, even in the bushes of B.C Canada, this is why I prefer different camo patterns over CADPAT.

Depends on if your chain-of-command are non-tactical assholes or not. We have a real problem here of non-adaptation that is killing U.S. Soldiers because selfish careerists want to hide in whatever the bureaucracy mommy/daddy tells them to do. It'll be interesting to see the BS excuses they will come up with to oppose STRETCH TAPE on the M16/M4 that does'nt even leave any adhesive residue. It's amazing they can defecate without a manual telling them how to do it, maybe they should stop?
