their are two types of ankus, and they are never sharp , just worked @ carson & barnes and saw a man severly reprimanded and watched him make the point blunt. the boxcars are air conditioned, yes not ventilated, also heated in winter. the trailers are full of ventillation holes.

8:14 english woman with absolutly no idea , speaks of things she thinks do not happen , but elephants on Ringling go on many adventures outside of the arenas, even go swimmingn many times on water stops . the rail cars are far from poorly ventilated and are actually heated & air conditioned.they are bathed daily. hundreds of hours shackled how is this possible ??? they work every day. so are they shackled or over worked?

@pebbles92able all subjects require thinking, anyone who thinks othewise is potentially a simpleton. they are not in shackles on a water stop while swimming in rivers and lakes far fro civilization. also you people swear they are in box cars over a hundred hours at a time. the longest ringling train run is 5 day's and tha'ts only once a year with water stops every 4 hours or so. once again you lose.

I fact check as often as possible, I don't escape from reality, I seek it out. Books other than fiction are based on other people perceptions that expand knowledge. when I talk about circus stuff it's not from a book it's from being there and talking to older people who have been there longer than myself.

@pebbles92able common sense has two meanings, things that are common to everyone, and what is plain to see . common sense does not have to be what is correct as many people can be incorrect about to the same thing due to media saturation. the universe we live in is much too complex to take everything at face value, there is always something deeper that you are not able to see from a snapshot of a situation. in otherwords one incident is not representative of the whole industry. rehashing lies.

@pebbles92able i was there for thousands of hours , decades out of my life. never heard it from anybody. it's not like they walk around totally unattended but you evedently don't know how large the interior of these buildings are or how much more ground there is underground in most of these places. again deal with facts you know about and leave the rest to me as you have not spent most of your life dealing with this,.

@circusboy90210 And it is true that these endemic species natural traveling rate is the least 30 miles a long walk a day. So compared to the fact they are either in shackles, tortured during training, or walking the most 3 miles a day is a subjugating life. Instead of being disintegrated from their moms at early age and performing in front of ignorant barbaric people (retrospecting in the Dark Ages, which we are in the 21st century), life is incomparable.

@pebbles92able time is irrelevant, we are still the masters of this planet, as part of the food chain any action we do is also endemic. however just getting in and out of the building , and going for the daily bath/food etc is more than 3 miles not to mention the laps they make around the inside of the building during the spec / performace etc. then there is the walk to and from the train every week. again talk facts not conjecture.
