Detroit needs new blood to power its economy, and that mean they have to support a high influx of migrants if they want to get the city back on the rebound. Everyone is leaving, the city no longer and the money to pay for new police officers. obvious crime will rise. @MrGchiasson the problem is, the market value is only like a grand for a house in those neighborhoods. I used to do work on section 8 housing in those neighborhoods in Detroit and we would buy houses for right around 1000 SOMETIMES 2000 but that was rare.
If I found myself living in the same conditions this lady was, I'd take what I could carry in a backpack, leave the rest and WALK out of that hellhole. Better to try to live in the wilderness.

@MrGchiasson the problem is, the market value is only like a grand for a house in those neighborhoods. I used to do work on section 8 housing in those neighborhoods in Detroit and we would buy houses for right around 1000 SOMETIMES 2000 but that was rare.
