First Strike Rock of Offense was produced by Mike. Got to work with him. Too bad Exit didn't push us all harder. 77s, Vector, Peacocks genre was an area they were able to compete in. First Strike was a 80s stadium rock band that should have been competing with other 80s rock bands. Give them a listen.
I was the Music Director at my college radio station and we played this album to death. I even tried to get a job with the record label (Exit) but my contact there blew me off after I arranged a trip to CA after school. So cool to find the video. I still have the album!!
@micro77s anyone know how i can get a hold of some of Vector's music? i use to have 'Maniquin Virtue' on cassette - i must have lost it. i remember Vector performing at Cornerstone festival in the 80's and thought they were great!!! message me or email : catoohey@hotmail.com
I have heard the end jibberish is an attempt at mocking the craze of backward masking. Not sure though. This song proves that quality does not go out of style.
I and other DJs on my college radio station played this to death in 1984-85. I was even trying to interview with their label (for a job)when I traveled to SF, but my contact there blew me off. Oh well...that was 25 years ago...lol
All Fall Down is one of my all time favorite albums, one that really passes the test of time. It's a musical masterpiece. I was around 12 years old when I first heard songs from this album, so it really takes me back.
I used to have this album (All Fall Down). I could kick myself for losing track of it. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of it and/or "Ping Pong Over the Abyss?"
This music takes me back to one of the happiest times in my life!
@younged777 Lots of the older albums including PPOTA are available on iTunes and Amazon MP3 now. Or you could just keep an eye on Ebay. They show up there from time to time.
BTW. You can get pirated copies of all of Exits bands. No one will stop you. Label long gone. BUT, is the still, small voice gone?

The phrase is “Wie Schafe zur Schlachtbank geführt” and it means “like sheep led to the slaughter”. Steve Griffith of VECTOR is the voice ~~

@ableartistasylum We reversed the reel-to-reel... (yes, dark ages) at the radio station. It's "get right or get left" backwards.

It's no German or Dutch. I really don't know.
