  • It's atonality presented in a late romantic way. The harmony is the only obvious change here. The gestures and orchestration is still late romantic. Don't get me wrong, it's great music!

  • @fcfritas i wouldn't say webern and schoenberg were 'zen-like'. what this is is Berg's late romantic take on atonalism / visa versa.
