This is definatly going to be a new title. Doesn't seem to have the feel of ZoE, and MGS is done. All major plot lines were basicly resolved in MGS4, and you can look up most anything else you want to know.
That being said, the new title will probably be aimed at pleasing the MGS audience. This probably means 4 key factors are going to be in this Project.

Yeah! Theres a lot of things we don't know about Metal Gear! Like the REAL first mission of snake in 1991 in The Gulf War(Liquid was there too but as a British soldier) and as well the 2 world war! I first thought the next game is about raiden but see that the image is all trees around and its Raining! Ok Raiden means thunder but Raiden isn't the only characther from Kojima that uses electric power! And the flora of the place makes me think about Europe(especialy France). Snake never been in EU.
@update: additional to the 5 (or S) there are 3 new letters: 3, e and E
the letters shine up in the light in the same amount randomly. u dont see one letter 2 times in a row. so this might be a code. if u flip the letter E it becomes an "m", the e mirrored can become a G, the 5 is also an S. if u put them together in a special order u get: (3)MGS 5 - the 3 and M (ealier E) become 3E - E3 (hint for the E3 expo, the last java update day. also look there are 3 "Es" in it: E, e and 3 (mirrored E).
1) It could be a sequel to MGS4 but I dont know how that would work since Snake *spoiler* is going to die from old age. The proof is that on the website, there was a 5 or an S to spell out SNAKE or just plain out MGS5, which completely rules out another Policenauts and ZOTE.
2. A prequel to Big Boss in MGS3:Snake Eater or a continuation of Raiden's story (which WOULD be kick ass) anyways, this is all speculation and take it with a grain of salt
I think its that Guy Savage thing in MGS 3. You remember when Big Boss was sleeping in the Jail Cell? And you played the dream. I think he is making the dream into a game.
What I find funny is how the Xbots bashed MGS4 when it first came out, but when the trailer for Metal Gear Touch came out, they thought (hopefully) the Power symbol was the 4 Xbox lights. Why can't we all just get along? I'll admit I want Gears of War.

Your wrong this is a prequel. The images show Sun and Lighting. So it's a back when Raiden saved sunny from the Patriots. If snake is in this game it'll mirder the series.
My theory is this: The website currently flashes the number 5 when lightning strikes. Raiden means lightning. However in the picture, most interestingly, in Famitsu magazine, if you look carefully upon the cloud formation, it resembles an old man lying down, in side profile, to me it looks like snake is on his deathbed with some sort of oxygen tube coming from his throat. His last moments. The two figures in the background are perhaps Raiden and Otagon paying their respects at the grave...
Ok first off every character in this game was changed from the original titles. Snake was in doubt this whole game and dumbfounded. Two the story was crap they over did it with everything even as far as reviving Big Boss and having Ocelot act like a good guy the whole. The old Ocelot we know from MGS1 and MGS2 didn't give a fuck about anyone he shouldn't have idolized Big Boss that destroyed his original character. Also this game was more like a movie rather than a game.
you forgot to mention the image of the person lying on their back in the clouds. it looks like snake somehow, or big boss, or maybe someone else unrelated, but it really looks like someone lying on their back. also on the far far far left, there is an eye in the clouds. an eye directly staring at us. it is vertically in the middle between the grass and the top of the page, and horizontally to the far left.
mgs4 and future mgss will NEVER go to 360 EVER. MGS5 will have graphics that might compare to PC graphics. 360 cant do that PS3 can. Kojima and his team are smart and know what MGS fans want. CAN'T WAIT!!!!
i don't think its just for ps3, my opinion is that the to sides mean its going to be only ps3 and 360 because those two systems have diffrent graffics
My first impression when looking at the page is tranquilty. I think Kojima is taking a new direction. He probably went for a more peaceful title. The second feeling I get from the page is Fear. I imagine myself in inside the scene, and I tell you, I feel discomfort, like there is something else around. The two people and the house add to the feeling. I think its going to be a laid back thriller.
Even though I'm a huge Metal Gear fan, I want Kojima to make something different. If you want theories, here is mine:-

Hey! I got it! Kojima will do is first World War 2 experience! As "The Boss"! Think a litlle! Trees, Clouds, Storms! Well theres a lot in europe and normally metal gear are in complex and only metal gear 3 is in the jungle! I believe this game gonna report us the experience of the boss as a Cobra Unit and Kicking some Nazi Punks Ass!!

dont think so man...i think it has to be a raiden game...think about it...in mgs4 we really dont get to hear much about raidens past fra mgs2 to mgs4...did u know he got his ninja suit at area 51...and kojima has also made metal gear games that makes u understand i little about the caracters in the series...in mgs2 u learnt about solid snake and what kind of person he was...in mgs3, naked snake so u would understand why he betrayed his "allies"...

Yeah! Theres a lot of things we don't know about Metal Gear! Like the REAL first mission of snake in 1991 in The Gulf War(Liquid was there too but as a British soldier) and as well the 2 world war! I first thought the next game is about raiden but see that the image is all trees around and its Raining! Ok Raiden means thunder but Raiden isn't the only characther from Kojima that uses electric power! And the flora of the place makes me think about Europe(especialy France). Snake never been in EU.

@update: additional to the 5 (or S) there are 3 new letters: 3, e and E
the letters shine up in the light in the same amount randomly. u dont see one letter 2 times in a row. so this might be a code. if u flip the letter E it becomes an "m", the e mirrored can become a G, the 5 is also an S. if u put them together in a special order u get: (3)MGS 5 - the 3 and M (ealier E) become 3E - E3 (hint for the E3 expo, the last java update day. also look there are 3 "Es" in it: E, e and 3 (mirrored E).

Well there are 2 therois to these teasers
1) It could be a sequel to MGS4 but I dont know how that would work since Snake *spoiler* is going to die from old age. The proof is that on the website, there was a 5 or an S to spell out SNAKE or just plain out MGS5, which completely rules out another Policenauts and ZOTE.
2. A prequel to Big Boss in MGS3:Snake Eater or a continuation of Raiden's story (which WOULD be kick ass) anyways, this is all speculation and take it with a grain of salt

What I find funny is how the Xbots bashed MGS4 when it first came out, but when the trailer for Metal Gear Touch came out, they thought (hopefully) the Power symbol was the 4 Xbox lights. Why can't we all just get along? I'll admit I want Gears of War.

continued.....and most interestingly, the house could be a property, purchased with the sole intention for a man to live his final days with dignity. Remember the end of MGS4 where Otagon vowed to aid snake to his final days. What is depicted, I think, ultimately, is the day of snakes funeral. The thunder being a symbol that Raiden could finally be the man to step into Snake's shoes and become the new legendary hero. But then again I could be completely wrong!

Your wrong this is a prequel. The images show Sun and Lighting. So it's a back when Raiden saved sunny from the Patriots. If snake is in this game it'll mirder the series.

My theory is this: The website currently flashes the number 5 when lightning strikes. Raiden means lightning. However in the picture, most interestingly, in Famitsu magazine, if you look carefully upon the cloud formation, it resembles an old man lying down, in side profile, to me it looks like snake is on his deathbed with some sort of oxygen tube coming from his throat. His last moments. The two figures in the background are perhaps Raiden and Otagon paying their respects at the grave...

Ok first off every character in this game was changed from the original titles. Snake was in doubt this whole game and dumbfounded. Two the story was crap they over did it with everything even as far as reviving Big Boss and having Ocelot act like a good guy the whole. The old Ocelot we know from MGS1 and MGS2 didn't give a fuck about anyone he shouldn't have idolized Big Boss that destroyed his original character. Also this game was more like a movie rather than a game.

you forgot to mention the image of the person lying on their back in the clouds. it looks like snake somehow, or big boss, or maybe someone else unrelated, but it really looks like someone lying on their back. also on the far far far left, there is an eye in the clouds. an eye directly staring at us. it is vertically in the middle between the grass and the top of the page, and horizontally to the far left.

mgs4 and future mgss will NEVER go to 360 EVER. MGS5 will have graphics that might compare to PC graphics. 360 cant do that PS3 can. Kojima and his team are smart and know what MGS fans want. CAN'T WAIT!!!!

My first impression when looking at the page is tranquilty. I think Kojima is taking a new direction. He probably went for a more peaceful title. The second feeling I get from the page is Fear. I imagine myself in inside the scene, and I tell you, I feel discomfort, like there is something else around. The two people and the house add to the feeling. I think its going to be a laid back thriller.

When you go to the website for this mysterious title, check the page's source, and you will find the keywords: MGS, Metal GEAR, Next. Now its mostly speculation, but this game might be a new MGS.

It may be another Metal Gear Game, but at the same time it might not be. The keywords on the page source might just be a way to bring people into the teaser site because everybody knows MGS as Kojima Productions most famous work.
