  • This is just one side of the story. Obviously the maintream media is reluctant to show the other one.

  • Comment removed

  • it was an absurd. the children is not a coin of change. it was a decision completely absurd. only by US blackmail, influence, lies, pressure etc

    that happened.

  • Blackmail, where did you hear this? Proof please. I have read the facts on this case. Wealthy, powerful Brazilian family not accepting the court's decisions countless times. But the truth prevailed. Because the world was watching, they finally had to admit defeat. David won. Period.

  • @MsLostgirl1 Man, the US did threats against the Brazil, made pressure etc did what he usually does against other countries, see Iraq.

she traveled with her son that's not a lie.

    no kidnap.

the father that is lying ever since.

do not be dumped! wake up!

  • What lies? The only lies here were prepretated by the Lins e Silva and Bianchi families. They took Sean by lying to David and they have been lying ever since. Sad, evil people.

  • Americans should know that the Brazilian people is overwhelmingly in favor of his father, David Goldman

  • @CaxiasFreguesia All my family and friends are overshelminghly in favor of David and Sean!! We are Brazilian!!!

  • she was wearing the pants in the relationship and making the money wile he did nothing at home, no wonder he took 150 k from her family

  • @TheRachel33 um wrong. he was a fisherman and real estate agent. and second, the 150k was for the legal fees, dumbass. nice try.

  • @CityFireflies You idiot stupid fuck Yes she was the one working as a teacher and supporting the house, it doesnt matter what he was, he wasant making any money AT THE TIME, and he was staying at the house with Sean. And its also irrelevant why or what for he took the 150K from her family, he took it and the way he have been handling the whole case as a media circus, taking donations, instead of focusing on his son leaves more to wonder than the cute desperate father story he tries to paint

  • @TheRachel33 David always worked. As a model and with his boat. He never needed Bruna. She needed him for a green card. I hope that teaches a lesson to every American out there. NEVER trust a woman form another country. Most just want a green card.

  • In the repport i saw Bruna was the one working to support the house wile he was staying in the house. She needed a green card soo much that she came back to Brazil and left him? That doesnt make any sense at all, moreover, she comes from a very rich family from Rio. I myself gave up a marriage with an American because I found out it was not what i wanted for my life. Not every person wants to move to America, wake up. Your economy is fucked besides all and you dont even have good heathcare

  • @CityFireflies Dont get me wrong, I have sympathy for the guy, and compassion, I know he must have sufered a lot, and no matter how bad of a father he was, it does not justifies the fact that what she is was wrong to take the boy back in a one way decision. But I also think every story has 2 sides, and the american cockiness tends to lead some to think their the only ones right and owners of the truth

  • @TheRachel33 David a BAD father? That's NOT what you see in the home videos. Much less what everyone saw in the strugle this man had to go thru to get HIS son back. I know one thing. Burna WAS a BAD mother. To kidnap a child and hide in another country is the most coward attitude ANY mother could have.

  • If their brazilian family didn't prevent David to see his son WHY HASN'T SEE HIM FOR 4 YEARS????

  • After September 2004 the Brazilian MAFIA family didn't allow David to even speak on the phone anymore with Sean! They would hang up the phone! David traveled to Rio 11 TIMES before he was able to see Sean. He flew to Rio for EACH court hearing and TRIED to see Sean every time and the MAFIA FAMILY didn't allow him.

  • quem fez a traducao e as legendas ?

    Renata ?

la da comunidade do "bring sean back" ?

  • Vc vai postar a parte 2? Espero que sim.

  • I have a question to all the brazilians who think this boy should stay in brazil? What would you call, if a brazilian guy left the country with his son and by telephone informed his wife he is not coming back? if someone kidnaps your small child and treats him well, after 2 years that child will treat the kidnaper as a family member. should a judge then refuse to give the child back to the real parent?

  • Why US tv don't hear the other side of this story, they only talk about the dad side, they should send someone to brazil and hear both sides, like brazilian tv show does. I agree that sean belongs to his father, but there are a lot of thing that the us tv don't say, like sean's relatives and friends in brazil, they don't even really know why did sean's mother refuse to come back to US, why did he take so long to come to brazil to resolve the problem, why sean don't want to live in US...

  • Sean was way to young to make that decision. Bruna Davids wife admitted he was a loving father and husband. This is totally about money her parents have it and want what they want and wanted thier daughter home. Thats it!!

  • He DID go to Brazil many times to see his son and try to get this resolved. He was stopped by your courts. He tried to talk to her parents many times and they refused. FACT they wanted thier daughter and grandson in Brazil and nothing was going to stop them. Selling shirts going to the media is just the tip of the iceburg as to what I would do to get my son back. You are just now hearing about the case it's been reported here in America for months now or more.

  • No, Bruna & her family never prevented david from seeing sean, they prevented david from taking sean back to U.S. when they broke up david went to Brazil for many times but what he did was open a process of kidnapping against bruna, he never went to see sean because there is no kidnapping when he was able to see the kid, after he lost the case and then he went to see sean... I live in U.S. I do know this case for months but here they only speak with david, in Brazil they show both sides.

  • I hope they resolve this together and not in the court, cause I know both sides love the kid. what makes me crazy about this story is how the american tv talk so bad about brunas family and don't even send someone there, and also all these pictures of sean every where, like he was a Trophy, imagine when he return to U.S. and see all these people looking at him like he was in hell and now in heaven, in Brazil they don't even show his face on tv because they try to protect his image.

  • You are such a fool. Protect his image? I was born there. Stop with the self deception. "danca da garrafa", "banheira do gugu", "gretchen", "a praca e nossa", "mulher melancia" no jo soares un dos caras mais talentosos no brasil selling that garbage. I invite all in the world to google those items and sit down with their children and teenagers to watch. you fall into the category of the " brasil pra ingles ver". What a phony fool you are!

  • Of course you have to protect his image, his a normal kid and not someone who was kidnapped; he has school, friends and one normal life. you probably don't know what it means. all countries has a lot shit on tv, and there is a lot people who have nothing to do, they have time to watch and even memorize the names of these shit, if you don't like it just don't watch it; like I do. I just don't get why are you talking about shit on tv? I never say anything about it, this is not my concern.

  • american society suffer from one malice: to think we are better than the rest of the world. we are not. We are all human beings trying to do better, but we are evolve enough to know one thing: if you take a child from your spouse and leave the country you have committed a crime. At least we know that.

  • you are right pdm8, but it troubles me deeply that anyone would even think there is any level on justice to what has been done to this man and his child. The emotional trauma that boy will have to live with forever any way this ends.

Imagine know that your grandparents and mother took you away like this and some man wants to keep you at all costs...

  • As far as I am concerned, Sean Goldman is an American citizen prisoner in a foreign nation where the rule of law is something not to be respected.

Nevermind Brazil signed international treaties if they disregard them when it is time to apply law. We did it in Elian Gonzalez case, albeit in a brusk manner if you will, we fulfilled our promise to the world.

And we also promise we will bring Sean to his dad, takes what it takes and no expense spared.

Either participate writing to your congress

  • Or by sending monetary donations to David so that he can leverage the cost of this absurd. I am sorry for the years he has lost close to his son.

May this be resolved as soon as possible and may our government act swiftly.

  • im a brazilian, and im a law student, and we are respecting every single law.

if sean goes to USA he wins a father, and loses the life that he is used to, he loses a father, and his sister.

Brazil, is not trying hurt anyone, our laws, above all things try always to see, whats is best for the child and sean will have the same treatment, because if you dont know, was register in BRAZIL, so his brazilian, and dont compare Gonzales, its totaly diferent case, this case theres a lot of money involved

  • Man, you should sue that bar you call school if what they are teaching you is that you people are respecting "every single law"

As a law student you should know that Federal then International law supersedes provincial law and this is a case of international parent kidnapping and has been rules as such by The Hague Convention of 25 October 1980. What money? David wants his son not money. And I fail to see the differences between Elian and Sean, both were kidnapped.

  • Is that why your country has hid this from Brazilians and not reported this on your news? Yea, sounds as if your country cares and wants the truth.

  • his a brazilian, brazilian laws are applied as well, if you dont know, and second of all kidnapping ,please, the father knew where he was, he signed docs, he register the kid in Brazil, he knew, youre an ass, you not conserned about the child, because if you were you wouldnt which is best for him, because either way he loses. And this father whay only now, whay not when bruna was alive, the child lost his mother, and nobody seems to realy care about him, selfish pride, they want media not a child

  • It has been ruled a kidnapping by both USA law and international courts, so I have no concern for what some provincial family judge might think.

He was kidnapped because David, the only father, signed the permit for travel under false pretenses. And no, I am not concern at all for the so called mother, because she was a criminal, both a fraudulent con artist and a child abductor. So are the grand parents.

A mother would think on the happiness of the child first, she was more concerned about her

  • roytoy ,your wasting your time replying to that joker, law student my ass

  • "Terrible country without conscience"???? Are you kidding me? Are you saying that the 190 millions of Brazilians are the same: kidnappers or whatever? This is one of the most shamed comments I've ever seen. :-)

"Brazil has a culture that teaches men and women that it is absolutely OK to dislike Americans"??????

Oh, men! You know so few about Brazil...

Regarding to the case, poor father and son... Let's cheer for their reunion and put on hold foolish disagreements and comments.

  • deniseregis, you seem to be very nice. you are right, it is not the entire country but enough is enough. being a woman you have to be offended by the way women are sexualized in brasil. No? and what else needs to happen for the 190 million people to rise up and demand justice against barbaric criminals? brazil is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. but it is shameful to watch the broadcasting of soft pornography for all children to see. so where are the conscientious people?

  • I am sorry that I am no longer willing to overlook that we value very little in Brazil besides soccer, carnaval and having a good time. You can't be serious. "danca da garrafa", "banheira do gugu", and treating all our young girls as if the only reason for their existence was to fulfill a male stereotypical sex fantasy. the term "popozuda" seems endearing to you?"garota melancia on jo soares? artist? Read Eckhart Tolle's " A New Earth, look at our country again and then tell me what you think.

  • If you are an american and are about to marry a brazilian woman, think again. When things go wrong that is exactly what she will do to you if given the chance. Brazil has a culture that teaches man and women that it is absolutely OK to just pick your thinks up and marry someone else with no shame. How one "feels" is the only important thing and it justifies everything else. I am from Brazil, it is a horrible country without conscience.

  • Sure, and if you're Brazilian as you say, even though your profile sais "USA" and all your videos and comments are in English, you'd probably know that Brazil has a culture that teaches men and women that it is absolutely OK to dislike Americans, since they're so prone to make stupid comments like yours.

  • Are you sure you want to speak for the entire nation (191 million in Brazil)? I certainly don't fit your ignorant example and refuse to agree with the stupidity you've just posted. Most of the comments I'm reading in Portuguese from Brazilians are in favor of David Goldman (contradicting your logic) and no matter who sides with who, just because Bruna decided to escape her marriage like that doesn't mean that everyone who shares her nationality will do the same. Do all Americans act the same?
