Michael Scott, a 29-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, March 13, in the 11000 block of South Success Avenue in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Early Saturday morning, paramedics responded to a call of gunfire and found Scott in his apartment suffering from several gunshot wounds, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office. Scott was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:31 a.m., from the latimes homicide report
