@KokoTehWitch Because they want a challenge, and aren't like a lot of gamers over here who go cry whenever they get killed or see "GAME OVER". However, with the release of games like DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu and Touhou 13, it seems that even some Japanese are starting to complain.

BTW Touhou is not necessarily a good benchmark for a difficult shoot-em-up

@KlLLAH573 The Japanese have complained for longer than that. The Japanese whined about DOJ White stringency and difficulty, so Cave gave them the finger and gave them Ketsui. They complained even more, so Cave put out the easier Black Label version to pacify them.

You know, once I heard the japanese name "Nake!! Wameke!!!" I thought it would be something either disturbing or desperate.

Now I see that the name "CRY! SCREAM!!" fits this boss perfectly, the music not only shows the chaotic nature of the boss, but also shows your own reaction of fear as well as the bosse's insanity...

The only problem is: The boss fights using intimidation as it's ultimate weapon, really lame for a final boss... Still really epic though.
