Tien had the most martial arts skill out of anyone in DBZ. Goku used to have great martial arts skill but he once he dound out he was a saiyan he just became all power and no technique. Vegeta may have had the worst martial arts skills out of all the characters. He was a just a really powerful brawler with no technique. Thats why I miss DB they had better fight scenes with actuall martial artist, not just really powerful people. Mercenary Tao and Master Roshi were both awsome but human

@Rayman77792 Yeah, and he had no creativity at all for being a "fighting genious". Garlic Gun and Final Flash = Kamehameha clones with fancy names and poses. Big Bang Attack = Just a ki ball. Simple energy blasts without any special properties. Hell, the guy spams ki blasts so much that when Fat Buu spammed against Goku he went "Oh look! He is using Vegeta's style!"

Every other fighter had at least some technique that he invented or modified for a specific use.

Ppl forget that before DBZ was all about an alien racial grudge, DRAGONBALL was about being the greatest martial artist in the world and experiencing the wild adventures Earth had to offer. The running away with the alien SSJ theme consumed too much of the storyline, and frankly ruined it a little.

Lastly Tien's strongest move tri-beam damaged cell and saved android 18 and technically the world. Master roshi retired. Cant think of anything for yamcha though

It's one of my biggest problems with Dragonball - the power escalation. These characters are introduced as milestones for Goku to surpass, and there's never again any serious credible possibility of them rivaling him again.
