That AWD system gets my approval! It APPEARS to have a 50/50% torque split. Half of the power goes to the front, half to the rear, which is ideal for all around use. It seems to handle well, powerslides nicely, and has good grip. It seems fully equivalent to Subaru and Audi systems. It DOES have open front and rear diffs, but that's not surprising; most 4WD/AWDs do.

looks like it works perfectly just put winter tires on all 4 wheels and you shouldn't have any problems
