Since you seem like a true believer in the Lord let me explain this to you. The Catholic Church never changed even one teaching of Jesus Christ and in fact the only way in which we know what he taught - through the Bible - is that the Holy Spirit operated through the Church.
The Gospel of Christ is the Gospel of the Church - there is no difference whatsoever. The Bible was written by Catholic saints, canonized and protected by the Church, and if you accept the NT, you accept the Church.
@petruscephas "there were no "evangelical" or "fundamentalist" heretics" because your loving church probably burn them alive. When your priests aren't molesting children they are dying of Aids.
How wrong you are and how hateful of Christ and his Church you have become in your separation.
You know nothing of the priesthood that was established by Our Lord and the great and inestimable good that his Catholic priests have done in the world for 2,000 years.
If all you "know" about Catholic priests is "molesting children" then you are truly and willfully ignorant.
Your sexual sins are known by the Lord and you will be judged by him when you stand before his throne.
thanks for acknowledging that saint patrick was not roman catholic. roman catholics believe that the days of miracles is past and were for the apostles only.
patrick had many visions and didn't teach sacrements of catholicism but he taught from scriptures. he didn't teach catholic church tradition which a priest would have
true history my ass he was a silver tounged murder that was a very big part in forceing religion by the blade and spiled the blood of inocent pepole that should of been left to there own beleafs
if religon has to be forced by the blade it is false
That my friend is what Roman Catholicism and Islam are all about. They go hand in hand. Catholics are NOT Christians and Christians are NOT Catholics. Biblical Christianity does not need to use steel or force to convert people. Our sword is God's holy word and God's spirit to do the convincing for us. Patrick was not a Catholic. The Vatican has to take what is not theirs and twist it to make themselves look good taking those things that would only only bring honor and glory to our saviour.
@Jerome112 Amen, and Amen. HAIL GLORIOUS ST. PATRICK.LET THE MISINFORMED READ THE THE BREASTPLATE OF ST. PSTRICK. You will become informed. Also Catholics are Christians....they become Christians when they receive the SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION!!!THEY ALSO BECOME SOLDIERS OF CHRIST.
GOD BLESS IRELAND, MAY ST. PATRICK AND OUR LADY OF KNOCK WATCHOVER THE IRISH PEOPLE. IRELAND FOREVER. AVE MARIA. AMEN. God Bless you Jerome 112.
coz. you are tragically misinformed.. ...BereanBeacon enough said......What is being parroted by you is the fanciful history of Loraine Boettner a leader in the anti-Catholic movement.and not mentioning Ralph Woodrow and Alexander Hislop who are also rabid anti-Catholics. Also through in Jack Chick and the rest were all cold blooded liars!

And why is Patrick venerated in Brittany? Patrick is not Peter. Patrick is derived from the Latin Pater - Father. St Patrick never existed. He is the personification of the early Christian missions in Ireland. So, come on, m' bucko, wash thine eyes in the Pool of Siloam, and start to see.
Our nation is not catholic it is a multi culterial society with many religions being practiced each as ligitimate as the next. I personally do not practice any religion but have respect for all.
Our nation is built on christian morality, why do we have christmas and easter as state holidays but not any other religious holidays. Ireland is catholic
Being christian and being catholic are two different things ,there are many factions based on christianity ,if we could all get back to the core ethic of being christian it would be a far better world, you dont have to be religious to be a christian. be realistic and look at the divisions created by religion in our country both being" christian "
divisions created by man not specifically religion, our country is now becoming more secular anyway so you won't have to worry, as for me i'll always be catholic
Well, Saint Patrick did indeed cast out all the Snakes from Ireland. The evidence is that there are no Snakes in Ireland today. He sent them all to England!!!
Seriously, it is a shame that you could not find our Lord Jesus as your own personal Saviour as other Priests have, when you were an active Priest. What a powerful witness for Christ you could have been in the Catholic Church. What a blessing in God's Hands you could have been in the Church. God bless you anyway. Jude 24
A lot people get the date Palladius arrived confused with Patrick's arrival. It's very interesting reading Wylie's history which reveals that Patrick arrived on the island in the year 405Ad, 27 years before Palladius. God bless Richard Bennett for making this video.
This is so beautiful, Patrick's own words. Thank you for posting it.

@thecrusades2 St Patrick was a welsh slave brought to Ireland by Niall of the Nine hostages and his clan.

Ireland is Catholic, thank God, and thank St. Patrick, who converted the Irish people to Christ's Church in one generation without bloodshed.
Also, thank God there were no "evangelical" or "fundamentalist" heretics around at the time of St. Patrick.
These heretics didn't come into existence until the 20th century and their way is not the way of the ancients, the Apostles or of Christ.
God bless the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
