I think that it's the concept he's talking about removing, not the actual word 'is'. 'Is' is too imbedded in the english language to avoid completely all the time. The concept behind 'IS', however, can set up certain limitations on thought and belief, that can easily hold one back from greater understanding. Basically he's saying dont be so certain that what your observing is the absolute final word in the nature of reality.
It is one of the most irregular conjugations in English. We see the same irregularity for that verb in German with sein: to be. Ich bin (I am), Du bist (You are), Er ist (He is) Wir sind (We are), and Sie sein (They are.
E Prime remove the verb of being. Most Asian languages, ASL and strangely Klingon have no verb for being.

Why not try refraining from using any form of the verb 'to be' -- the most isolated and irregular verb in English? Too challenging, can't wrap the mind around a world that isn't? RAW's take on things comes across as impossible to digest for the indoctrinated masses.

I've always wondered that if the color which appears blue to me may appear as what I percieve as red to somebody else or yellow to somebody else. We would all still see the sky as what we know to be blue, but we all may see it as a different color, but a color that we recognize as blue. But that actual color that is recognized as blue may look different to everybody. My friends called me crazy.

I think that it's the concept he's talking about removing, not the actual word 'is'. 'Is' is too imbedded in the english language to avoid completely all the time. The concept behind 'IS', however, can set up certain limitations on thought and belief, that can easily hold one back from greater understanding. Basically he's saying dont be so certain that what your observing is the absolute final word in the nature of reality.

Are and am are conjugations of the verb "to be"
It is one of the most irregular conjugations in English. We see the same irregularity for that verb in German with sein: to be. Ich bin (I am), Du bist (You are), Er ist (He is) Wir sind (We are), and Sie sein (They are.
E Prime remove the verb of being. Most Asian languages, ASL and strangely Klingon have no verb for being.

I don't believe I heard more than a passing reference to drugs. And yes some of us do love Crowley. "Do as thou whilt shall be the whole of the law", "Love Under Will". Nope, nothing there about Satan, new age spiritual poison, or even drugs. As I recall RAW tried starting a political party "The Guns and Dope Party". Libertarianism at it's best! Own whatever munitions you want, and do whatever drugs you want...Just don't make it a problem for the rest of us (because we are armed too!)

No. Reality tunnels refers to 'blinders' that we all wear: blocking out certain things that we don't even realize we're blocking out. And light cones are too complicated to reduce to a single sentence but since you mention them I'm guessing you somewhat understand what they are. But they are two entirely separate concepts.
