when this song first came out it was freakn HUGE ... saw them live in Dallas ... its a basic rockn song that does its job ... STrippers back then loved it to LOL
This is one of those songs with that intro that just plays over and over in my head and I love the feel. I bought this cassette in '88 and still have it.
This classic slow, hard-edged track was always very popular with the women in any club we played this in. The women would fill the dance floor and croon.....Never did this song fail to fill a dance floor.

I never told in all the years we played around Spokane, Cour De' Alene and all the gin joints, and logging taverns of the Pacific Nortwest you that I believe you to be the king of mimicking original sound.
The only thing I remember about this band was seeing their commercial for the album with this song and video that would play at night on MTV. I never heard the whole song until decades later I decided to type it into YouTube. Not a bad tune I must say.
i remember these guys. the original Rockin' Billy and the Rhythm Riot opened two shows for these guys in central Illinois during their first tour. they were real nice guys and awesome performers. they are playing about 4 miles from my house tonight!
Attention! Little America has finally scheduled a reunion show. This is the final date. Saturday February 26 at Club Fortune Casino at 8PM. Please Share if you care! Should be a great event. See them live Jan 29th 2011 for a one night only reunion in Vegas !! Hey Cus I think I have the same haircut now WTF? HA Ha or maybe it's just an RCH shorter!
Fantastic band. Mike's voice, song writing was phenominal. Also, check out Andy Logan's solo CD's...great song writer/singer/guitar player as well. This song still gives me chills to this day...
I remember this song came out in the late 80's they played it on the radio and then all of a sudden they stopped playing and wondered what happened to it. I remember seeing the video and liking it so much. So glad I found it on youtube it brings back some great memories. Thank you youtube.
Heard this song in 1991..radio played it like crazy...never said who sang it...........it took til the 2000's to find out who they were........omg..listen to the lyrics@any doubters/....this is an intense song!
I met the band in person when they were first starting out in KC. Got pics with them and their autographs too...never forgot them..was thrilled to find this video
Now were they supposed to support Warner pulled Rights music? I tried to upload audio of Mason Proffit, as well as Eagles and Don Henley, and SNL live clips of music, and Mick Jagger, all were pulled for rights issues, though I just want to spread their awareness
great song,great band...

The singer is hot! He's one of the few guys that gets away with a mullet! Same for Joe Elliot of Def Leppard!
