The sixth movement is a doosey. Whats really challenging is reading the second violin bottom notes. You can't see them. That double dotted quarter note scenario is tricky too. You gotta wait until the last possible moment to play the last note before the finale chord.
@musicwithapassion holy jesus dont even get me started on that especially for the viola part all the notes are meshed together with so many accidentals
we're playing these pieces in my orchestra class. my favorite is pavae, the second one. its the most challenging because i play cello and ive never needed thumb position before this piece.
Awesome (: I remember playing this for Symphonic last year.
Oh, and now that I think about it, the Brookwood Philharmonic and chorus were at GMEA last year. I wish I had been in Phil. at the time. They did a performance themed "Night at the Opera", if anyone was there and can recall it.
Second attempt! - It's not a song; it's a suite (a group) of pieces of various forms which together make a whole. Also, why not try capital letters, full stops, commas or apostrophes occasionally? There's nothing clever about this illiterate use of English, the most expressive language in the world when used properly.
im in TRYPO SYmphonette, and we're playing this song!!! its soo much fun,cuz i just LOOOOOOOVE the sound of an orchestra...it gives me chills, idk why...but i just love to play and be part of a great orchestra!! TRYPO ROCKS
Nice upload! I have to play this for my Chamber audition tomorrow and I have a question. Where are the best places to shift during the second half of the song for the first violin part? Please respond. =)
You know, when I actually listen closely on Capriol Suite movement VI, it sounds like the violin players are battling against the viola, cello, and bass players. I love it.
I'm playing this in my orchestra as well. We take it much faster; especially I and VI! Number II should be taken slow. I find it funny that you uploaded my exact favorites out of the 6 - lol.
Wow, when we played it, it was much faster! Very nice, though!

We play this at my high school too. I play violin. 1st and 2nd movement are a breeze. 3 and 4 are next to impossible for me though.

Pavane sounds a tiny bit redundant, but it's otherwise great job! Very good for middle-schoolers.
