I would use ICK TREATMENT! it helps your gold fish survive the ick just put the fizz and POOF! gone

goldfish are so hard to care for! mine has a parasite so i put a little salt in the tank so fingers crossed he gets better!! i hate seeing animals sick :(

both my gold fish have ich right now but im trying to treat it with a little bit of salt and ich medicine. How do they get sick ? i have all the setup right and put fresh water every 2 to 3 weeks . Have u found a to treat them ?

It's good that you put him into a quarantine tank but 80% water changes is a big no-no. No matter the circumstance, you should never change more than 25% of the water at a time. More than that can shock the fish.

This happened to my goldfish two times,it happened to her because I over fed her. Now i just give her a pinch of Tetra Fin fish flakes. Maybe that fish is overfed?

I think he's just getting used to the tank. My goldfish did the same thing.

I had a black moore named Bubbles that we bought from WalMart years ago...it lived pretty long but had the strangest habits 8O

It slept upside down (like what a dead fish looks like) made gurgling noises at the top of the bowl, and then later on developed a sickness and right when we thought he would die, we saw him...he had ONE EYE XO

And the worst thing....I think he ate it T-T Cuz it was nowhere in the tank...he passed away later on.

I think if they swim upside down they have swimmers bladder...but i hope they're just sleeping

these fish don't die because their eyes protrude. I have a black moor who's 7 years old. If you provide enough space and filtration, change the water regularly, and feed a good diet these fish can be very long lived.

I never really had any luck with black moors....

first one I got died like... a few months after I got him.... It might have something to do with the fact that they have poped out eyes or something.

It might be because of their eyes but when i was chosing a fish the person at the shop didnt recomend black moors cus i was starting a new tank, she said somethin like theyre much more delicate due to their black colour and so are harmed by toxins nd stuff in the water, which may not effect e.g. the gold variety of this fish, dunno whether this is true tho lol :)

My last blackmoor fish died of swim bladder, he was always doing backflips because he couldn't control where he was going and couldn't swim! =[ But my new one is lovely too =]

i have two fan tail gold fish in a 30 gallon tank,my smaller one Gimpy has a weird deformed fin on one side and he sits at the bottom of the tank he looks fine down there but he dosnt swim alot anyone know what could be wrong?

Omg! Thankfully! Cuz you have one sick but you can tell me how to treat it. cause i got one new baby one. Dx i have one of thoe too! i have Moor which is same diease like yours! She have to be put sleep because of she have 3 diease. Drowsy and White spot and ich. ;__; i miss her. Did your fish died?

As I believe Black Moors do not do well in mix water, So I would try to take out the salt.
