third person is where you can't use cameras to look around corners? what are you talking about? third person is when you're outside the person you're playing looking down at him or behind him. how is that so hard to understand? and holy shit this is intensely old footage

@super6plx 1.Don't get me started with the game being a TPS. The only reason for that is that you must be able to see if a melee guy is backstabbing you. Other than that, it is very difficult to see around corners(as you can not turn the camera and not the character).

2.Just look at the date. Duh.

and also, it is not first person simply because the camera is not inside the player's head. that is the only definition of a first person shooter, if the viewpoint is in first person through the player's head.

@super6plx It is my firm belief that this game is just like an FPS, since there are little to no differences. Therefore, I can name the video however I want. After seeing the actual game, one can call it however one wants. It's not THAT bad that someone loses 1 second of their life.

@AikidoAndersen by the way I know it's 5 months on from when you said that, but the sandstorm patches 1 and 2 are out now, and the game is so so SO much different now. check out some more recent vids of it, there's an open world now, where you can explore that place you see at 2:10 in the video (it's a huge area)

the community also believes there's more open areas to come too

yeah but MMOFPS means that the game has combined features of FPSes and MMORPGs, but not all of them. I also believe that an FPS equals a ThirdPS when the camera is static and you can't use your FOV to look easily around corners.

Q2: In PVP how can u tell if someones on ur side or not?

Q3: When doing PVE do u have to be in a group?

@bubibutz A1: There isn't really any music in the dome cities, just sound effects and such... in the PvE missions you have an occasional last minute tune, in PvP every time you cap a point a brief victory music will be played...

A2: Depends on your settings, the default would make your allies standard class colors and your enemies red, but you can choose to switch on dyes on enemies/allies, enabled both can be confusing sometimes though...

A3: No... just a plain no...

Ok major question:

In the game, is it an actual "mmo" enviroument? Meaning are you able to walk out of the town/city you are in, (with your friends) and start fighting mobs OR does it go by instance by instance...in order to join PVE?

The only place where you can meet up with others are in cities, and they are peace zones. All PVP and PVE is instanced, but with good quality and such atmosphere that you wont feel that you are closed in a "dungeon" instance. Also, the max player number per PVP instance is 20(10v10), and in base defence battles, your clan's prohress in each instance affects the others.

So basically it's like GunZ instances except instead of rooms, there are parties and mission que times...and one instance to see everyone...

You gotta buy the game then you have to pay a monthly fee to unlock extra content like massive battles for world conquer. I heard this kind of pvp battles should involve a lot of players.

This is true i went on the faq on the game's website. Though with the one time fee you get most of the content. With the monthly fee you get the new mode where it's 60vs60. Sadly it's true =[

@DJOK1 one time fee for the game and TF2 style pvp, but you pay a sub for things like the mail system, auctionhouse, agencies, and the endgame content.
