@JesseArrr Look at a vid of Eric playing, he doesnt restring the right handed guitar for his left handed playing, he plays with the fat string at the bottom and the skinny string at the top... backwards of how we all play guitar..
You know how most people restring a right hander before flipping it over to play it left handed, well, he is one of the few who apparently doesnt do this.. it appears from watching his videos and live shows, that he is playing it left handed, but strung for a righty.
Does Eric Gales play his guitar strings upside down as well as his guitar
It appears that he has his strings reversed upside down, as opposed to how we normally play with out low E where his high E is at.. I guess what I am trying to say is that although he plays left handed, he doesn't fix the strings, it appears that he just litterally filps over a right handed guitar, strings and all, and plays it that way left handed, upside down, even the strings upside down.
@VicRoseMusic Yea, and I just was thinking it was cool for this guy rotren to have figured out how to show us his technique transferred onto a regularly stringed guitar, because as one comment says, yes the "notes are the same", but the difference in the string configuration does affect the fingering patterns and scales considerably. so nice job and props to the video uploader, thanks for the lesson!
gale is awesome! but he's back to school I think for drug problems...
