@alphaguitar2 Circa Survive is my favorite band. Anthony Green is my favorite solo artist. I was a die hard fan the second I heard kicking your crosses down, pretty much all I listen to when I'm by myself is Juturna, On Letting Go, Blue Sky Noise, and Avalon on repeat. My opinion of lady gaga is sort of a double edged one, as a human being, I hate her and I wish she would go away, but as an artist I can't deny that she IS amazing when compared to about 99% percent of the crap on mainstream radio

I agree with the first statement, these guys are amazing, however so insn't Lady Gaga (albeit in a much different way), if all you've heard from her is what's been on the radio then I can understand where you're coming from, but her albums are filled with a wide variety of styles with some really amazing music and lyrics, and unlike most "studio" artists, she can actually sing. You would have been more acurate if you had named Ke$ha, who in my opinion is a worthless waste of space.

I don't like her lyrics either but thats probably just because I prefer the lyrical styles of refused, mars volta, circa survive etc. So maybe I can't comment on the lyrics as much.
