p.s. these are just my personal opinion...plus would you rather take a stock Winchester sx3 into battle or a benelli M2/M4 into battle? (i pick benelli hands down).
@AdmiralGST i love my 1100. but one thing i LOVE about my benelli M2 is the "inertia" drive, which basically causes everything to go out the barrel...which translates to over 200 rounds and you can still see the chrome inside the chamber. versus my remington which gets blackened after 25 rounds...i LOVE cleaning my handguns...i HATE cleaning shotguns ;-)
rifle? really? and the increments of time by which they measure the lock times and cyclic rates in the leading shotguns are almost incomprehensible and impossible to see a difference with. All are "faster than your finger".
all stock. i was using fiocchi 2 3/4" / 1330 fps birdshot...one thing about the remington is that it really doesn't like rounds that are under 1200 fps...
as long as you stay above the 1200 fps line you're fine...
it's funny how fully grown men shoot 12 gauge's like a bad ass, but I'm 13 and I took the kick better 8^]

I wouldn't call it the Cadilac of the shotgun world, there are much more refined semi auto shotguns out there such as the high end Berettas.
AdmiralGST 4 months ago
@AdmiralGST point taken but i specifically called the Remington the "cadillac" of semi-shotguns because well...
it's american made...
berettas are italian...and i posted another vid where i claim my Beneli M2 is the Ferarri of shotguns...which is PURELY my own personal opinion ;-)

@mushedroom Benelli's are nice but I wouldn't call them a Ferarri. The Winchester SX3 actually cycles faster than the Benelli.

@AdmiralGST
again... winchester's are AMERICAN...
Benelli's are ITALIAN...

@mushedroom I'm just talking about general purpose, I would take my 1100 over anything at this point. Maybe an M3 later down the road though.

@mushedroom i understand that the sx3 is the fastest cycling etc. but it's a hunting/competition rifle.
m2/m4's are tactical and battle proven.

Is that a Tac-2 1100? or a modified 1100? What length barrel? What kind of loads were you using?
asnmonkey6969 1 year ago
@asnmonkey6969 tac2 with pistol grip.

I that the shotgun that "anton chigurh" used in "no country for old men"
Jamesaidit 2 years ago
nope...
anton used a custom machined Beretta 390... ;-)
mushedroom 2 years ago
@mushedroom Both wrong, he used an synthetic remington 11-87 silenced.
angusr93 1 year ago
@angusr93 not wrong... in the book...his shotgun was a beretta 390 with a machined silencer.
mushedroom 1 year ago
@mushedroom Oh ok, i'll need to re read the book but in the film it was definetly an 11-87.
