In case some haven't figured it out yet, the quote at the beginning is from the book Truce at Bakura that takes place some time after the defeat of the Emperor and Darth Vader.

In the story, Anakin's spirit appears and begs for his daughter's forgiveness. Sadly, she doesn't, but he still promises to be there for her. Later in the book Tatooine Ghost, Leia learns what her father has been through and eventually forgives him.

This is good--the series didn't focus nearly enough on how Leia felt. Her entire family was falling apart around her because of the war, and that must have taken a toll.

If I could favorite this a second time, I would....I never read the Thrawn trilogy, but I can just imagine how she must have felt giving birth to her own twins and then finally accepting Anakin as her father by naming her youngest Anakin. So sad the tragedy didn't end there for the family.

I love this video. It shows how Vader has affected her relationships not only with her brother, but also with her lover. She wants to blame him for all the misery in her life, but she just can't because despite it all, she loves him regardless.

Oh I always thought that song would make a great Leia/Vader vid! And your vid was MUCH better than anything I could have ever done. ;) It does look like it was very hard to make, my vid took me serveral months to make lol.
