  • then why else would you do it fuckwit

  • @1975CATCHME Nirvana and Kurt? Kurt was a part of Nirvana

  • @TartuRockFanNr1 yes i know but you know what i mean ;-)

  • All

  • Ain was a very tortured artist he went through so much shit growing up and has he said anyone can play guitar but it takes a true artist to actually be able to preach them, he was actually depressed and tried to kill himself 36 times even on stage he was vary dangerous to himself his music was an outlet to his tortured soul play on kurt play on

  • @pokohalen2, I play guitar Ive played in many bands I've 586 songs, and been in music school since I was like 12 yeah there stuff is extremely simple but it was so rare an unique the pain that kurt cobain expressed in his lyrics and his voice was like somthing noone ever heard at that time I understand he doesn't go nuts with guitar solos or even stays with in a simple penationic scale but that's the beauty of music its expressing yourself and he didn't in a way that he could relate too kurt cob

  • "Do you like to rock?" haha :)

  • Such a very talented person kurt cobain was i still cant believe he commited suicide if thats even true

  • @Astridxxy bullet for my valentine

  • How was Nirvana real? Because they wrote songs that sounded like a 13 year old beginner guitar player wrote them? Dude three chord songs everyone of them. Lyrically ok maybe he was good with words and song concepts. If you liked depressing topics. Otherwise the music was SOOOO basic and dull.

  • @pokohalen2 That is the beauty in their music, simple but briliant

  • @pokohalen2 obvious troll is obvious.

  • @pokohalen2 Ya, so was that crappy band back in the 60s, what did they call em, The Beatles? Get outta here u moron, u kno nothing about music...

  • @pokohalen2 Bet you just jealous cause your voice is worse than them if you say theyre music is basic and dull let me show you video??? stop saying words you dont even exist

  • This would be a great tune for Jesus to sing on his cross

  • Like to rock whoops

  • Ha ha 0:16 "are you ready to rock?" lol

  • Every one is gay!!!

  • Fuck all this new days hardcore shit!! Nirvana kicks ass even if Kurt is dead!

  • why everyone writes so f****n big comments......im too tired to read them

  • Its make me Remember Kurt Cobain :)

  • When we wake up to the truth of life, inspired music like this will emerge and flourish again, and all the uninspired crap that people call "music" these days will fade away and be forgotten. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read what it says to learn the truth of life.

  • Pat Smear is an angel, he's got wings :)

  • In the recorded version does Dave Grohl sing backup vocals at all? It sounds like someone is singing with him at the part "All in all is all we are."

  • This band did so much good music in such a short period of time. God Bless Nirvana.

  • @SelenaBaby27

    u stupid person

  • The best Nirvana song. Never again will anyone capture this spirit.

  • Why are polasndkis katholic ? NO NEED ON CATHOLIC AND TOM CRUISE.

Me and Kurt are ONE but i have no Weapon

  • Mother love bone were not before nirvana, also did Pat Smear's mom film this? why is the camera on him 90% of the time????

  • 48 Personnen ohne Hirn

  • que bueno locoo

  • This is my favorite band of all time

  • @astridxxy Mother Love Bone are good but they were before nirvana, late 80s

  • pat has wings 0:51 ^^

  • R.I.P. Kurt. We may not have had you for very long, but we were damn lucky to ever have you. R.I.P.

  • I'd trade him for all the shitty wannbe bands that there are today

  • Kurt always said he only liked a few bands and those included The Wipers, Flipper, Blag Flag, The Vaselines and The Meat Puppets. None of those bands were that popular in the mainstream. So why you all mad that there ain't no punk/hardcore/grunge in the mainstream after the 90's? People still make that stuff but you wont find it in the comment section of this 18 year old footage.

  • God, Nirvana fans suck. I mean Nirvana's great and all but everyone here is complaining about how all music sucks today and when Kurt died, music died. There's still good music out there. Get of your lazy ass and look for it or quit complaing!

  • 1:34 haha look at krists face it's hilarious xp

  • ,Who in hell could not like Nirvana, so don't nothing bad about Kurt Cobain, I been listening to them for ever and still think there music was so.......raw and real ......They were not pretty boys .......they were a friging band and played dam good music. I miss the hell out of what would have been next......so you 48 dislikes don't ...........even post, you make me sick. I miss you Kurt forever.

  • Ye-ye-ye-ye. We love you.

  • Ye-ye-ye-ye

  • 1:45 pat has wings!! :D

  • This is awesome.... bands like Nirvana were REAL....not the fake radio-friendly crap we get today... real musicians in the tradition of Sabbath... writing great guitar riffs... anyone noticed that nobody writes GREAT guitar riffs anymore??? ...the only exception I can think of is of course "Till Death Do Us Part" by Belladonna, VERY Zep-Style... and their girl singer Luana is SO DAMN SEXY in the video... any other bands you can suggest?...

  • @astridxxy

Alexisonfire really has awesome riffs as well, and their singers are also very good, and lyrical they're quite strong as well. :)

And.. Incubus is also very good, but they're made in the late '90's so that's doesn't really count as a 2000 and further band :D

  • @astridxxy Why do i see this comment on so many videos? ...

  • @astridxxy yea its sad. GREAT music died with kurt. he was the last great rock star to pioneer a genre of music, write great riffs, and be clearly in his own league. there are only a few modern bands i truly respect, like Muse and H.I.M., but they aren't in the same league.

  • @astridxxy Nickelback? (as much as I hate them, but they are pretty good musicians)

  • @astridxxy Will you STFU?

  • @astridxxy Black keys for sure

  • @astridxxy

    paramore

  • @astridxxy Foo Fighters, Cage the elephant

  • @astridxxy Foo Fighters (Dave Grohl's band.... The Drummer from the band you're listening to)

But, you probably know them. These you might not know, but have great riffs, and fucking rock.

The Black Keys (AMAZING RIFFS, I mean seriously, if you like Zeppelin style riffs, this is the band)

    These are good too

    Muse

    Queens of the Stone Age

    The Strokes

    The White Stripes

  • @astridxxy Maybe Radiohead... They are fucking creative when it comes to riffs...

  • @astridxxy try the dead weather's and dead confiderate's new albums

  • @astridxxy also everlong or are you gonna go my way

  • @astridxxy why do i see this EXACT same comment on every nirvana video?

  • @astridxxy THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE

  • @astridxxy Tool writes some amazing music and they're still technically around. :P

  • @MansonFan64 Also Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead.

  • @Rejito I don't listen to them very often, but, I agree. :P

  • @astridxxy Megadeth writes good ones too.

  • @astridxxy as far as rock goes no, but there is a small collection of metal artists that are making new awesome riffs such as cynic

  • @astridxxy foo fighters

  • @astridxxy cage the elephant, the strokes, white stripes, hollerado, tokyo police club, bombay bicycle club,

foo fighters aren't so bad, dropkick murphys, gaslight anthem. ENJOY MY FRIEND

  • @astridxxy black box revelation

  • @astridxxy The oldest albums by Foo Fighters kind of sound like Nirvana I think

  • @astridxxy redfang check out redfang

  • @astridxxy Check out Cat Or Mouse. Its pretty good.

  • Happy Birthday Kurt!

  • We miss you Kurt. Happy 44th. I think your chilling with Jesus right now in heaven.

  • Happy Birthday Kurt

  • Happy birthday Kurt. Rest in peace. You always in our hearts.!!

  • hahahha justin bieber compared himself to kurt what a joke kurt is a fucking legend justin bieber is nobody

  • Yes Kurt we like to rock

  • today's music represents everything Kurt Cobain feared. I'm glad i was a teen when Nirvana and rock, alternative, and punk was what we listened and not shit like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. .. jesus. what happened.

  • @foxpawz I know, seriousl, I when I was in middle school I had so much cool bands to listen too, like Nirvana, Metalica, Megadeath, Aerosmith, Green day, offspring, Ozzy, blues traveler, The list goes on! I mean it was great! even the 90's rap music was awsome,

  • I freaking love Krist.

  • I remember when Grunge died...it was when bands like Green Day, Bush and Offspring became popular with their nothing to say songs. MTV decided that music was getting too heavy and scrambled to find another genre to piggy-back on like ska, rap-rock and techno. All MTV ended up doing in the end was take out serious musicians and replace them with boy bands, teen queens and party rap. Kinda funny to see how MTV turned on its own music loving audience to become a Disney youth culture channel.

  • @boredsmile hasn't been the way sense the late 90s. today it is more of a manufactorer of pop culture for teens.

  • @boredsmile green day and offspring were good back then !

  • @foxpawz I'm not saying the bands I mentioned in my last post were horrible back then, but you could hear the difference in the angst. Those bands scraped the surface of the heavier topics that Grunge did, and were also lighter and less thought provoking.

  • Pat smear sounds like pap smear

  • DEAR ALL ROCK AND NIRVANA FANS, FEBRUARY 20TH IS KURT COBAIN'S BIRTHDAY. THAT DAY WE WILL ALL VISIT THE "SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT" VIDEO, LIKE IT, AND WISH HIM A HAPPY BIRTHDAY. NOT ONLY WILL IT PAY BACK RESPECT TO HIM, IT WILL ALSO HELP NIRVANA GET TO THE TOP OF YOUTUBE AGAIN. THUMBS UP THIS COMMENT AND REPOST THIS ON ANY NIRVANA OR ANY ROCK VIDEO.

  • NIRVANA FOREVER !

  • Fairly pathetic that people sit around all day on Youtube whinging about Justin Bieber and about how music isn't what it used to be...get off ur asses and make some music yourselves or support some good music! If Kurt Cobain had been born in this generation,he'd be as pathetic as me and the rest of us leaving pointless fogettable comments on Youtube instead of making a difference in the world.I realise the irony in saying that while typing on youtube...but I've no musical talent so no guilt there

  • @DustyAndPistolPete agreed, i can only say im trying lol

  • @DustyAndPistolPete Kurt would kick music's ass any time any place. The problem is that there is no Kurt out there. But there doesn't have to be a Kurt, Jimmy Hendrix, Elvis or whatever out there... We need to make something new and awesome this time. We need to make a new genre of intense music that can revive the rejects that listen to good music.

  • @DustyAndPistolPete that's one of the best youtube comments I've ever read (no irony here) but not having musical talent doesn't mean you can't do anything to improve how music is (for example, by helping promoting good bands and so on). But you're right, complaining about how much Justin Bieber sucks (and he does suck indeed) won't bring back Nirvana, Soundgarden or other great bands!

  • @DustyAndPistolPete i try to write music that can bring back all the good shit but it is virtually impossible in this stupid fucking generation no one listens if your not famous or in the charts. the fuckers.

  • @DustyAndPistolPete i agree so fucking much !!

  • Grunge died In Utero

  • I mean I want to go and have fun in a local sodashops where they play cool maic like there uses to be and not something as synthetic as today's music industry is becoming I wanna be able to party and hang out and not live concealed to my room but I just have oppression from all over I wanna do more but I can't!

  • As depressing as many others I feel nostalgia because of my life I just wanna have what Kurt had that great chance of revolutioning music or anything in general I just think I messed up my teenage years inside my room

  • @ oliverecords yeah I know I just am a screwed up teenager whose life is s

  • I agree I'd kill to be a teenager In the 90s rather than now I feel oppressed with life right now ESP in my boring town where everyone is inside all. The time and there's no concerts

  • @Derekgrey94 I was a teenager in the 90's and I think there's a lot to see and hear today. It's always up to us! Being creative or even simply watching and listening to the world can be fun, even in a very boring town. Happy new year by the way!

  • Allinallisallweare.

    Woof! ...n' bless-m

  • i would kill to be the man recording this video

  • Damn, I wish I was a teenager in the 90s rather than now........

  • Pat Smear is standing there like if he moves someone is going to shoot him

  • It's "all in all is all we are." Nothing else

  • I still feel myself like Kurt's songs somehow

  • All in all is all we all are, all alone is all we all are, all we know is all we are.

I'm not saying these are right, though the first one is whats on the cd, but this is what I always heard, and what I choose to sing.

  • @nimaside right... I don't think he sang it the same exact way twice, even in the same performance :P

  • All in all is all we are.... <3

  • Does Kurt still do those funny car commercials?

  • you got that rite ! and this video is live and is really to wich is great !

  • Like one guy said 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, END

  • @ZPEstudio You forgot the 50s

  • @bobek3x and nowadays. People are just too lazy to look for decent music anymore. They just look at the mainstream and say 'nope, all shit' and leave it there. There is PLENTY of good music around, if you look for it.

  • @MRMATRONIC true

  • @ZPEstudio and let me guess, that guy is probably 35 to 45 years old, right? I'm 39 and I hear it all the time from people of my generation, we were Gen X, we were the 20-somethings of the 1990s. Everybody always thinks good music stopped with their 20s. It's a bunch of BS... there is plenty of good music. The issue is that people my age are jealous of young people who are now the experimenters and naive and passionate. And they are making great music. You just have to be willing to listen.

  • @ZPEstudio

nawww... mgmt totally saved the new millennium

  • @ZPEstudio

Was that one guy me? I know I've posted that like 100 times between this acc and Skateronguitar

  • @ZPEstudio not the 80s dude god no

  • @adiostraitorobama what are you talking about? Afraid of taking that leap?

  • God i wish i was a 20 year old in the 90's

  • @dinosauroracle

    I second that

I was too young to find the good music all around me.

  • @SuperDevolution i was born in 1993 so i was there just not old enough to appreciate everything that was happening. grunge movement and actual good rap music

  • @dinosauroracle - U was born in 68. The downside of being in my 20's then is that I'm 40's now. :) But I did get to see Nirvana and Alice in Chains before Kurt and Layne died.

  • @dinosauroracle i was ! and it was tha SHIT !

  • i rememder this shit when it came out i was 12 i remember playing nirvana songs on guitar thinking this is easy never thought this stuff was gona b history still sounds as good today as it did then wow fuckin hell.

  • Who is the lady sitting down playing the Chello? I think it's a chello anyways.

  • @InBloom182 thats lori goldstein shes plays chello in all apologies and dumb

  • I saw all these comments about guns n roses being better than nirvana axl being a better singer than Kurt so I listened to a live rendition of welcome to the jungle I loved the energy rhythm and syncopation of the guitars although not better clearly good then axl opened his mouth to sing and well what came out sounded like well you know that squeaky sound you get when you are washing a glass and it's clean that rubbing sound?

  • Putain j'étais à peine né et j'écoutais çà par mon père...Kurt tu as bercer mon enfance merci.

  • didn't Kurt od before this concert,

  • This is a great live version of this song. The band is playing loose. I like watching them play to the audience more than being camera conscious like those staged and overplayed MTV or festival performances. Other than bootlegs, is anyone aware of a professional video of a regular tour stop concert?

  • Kurt is the best! I wish he was still Alive :(....by the way great video! :D
