Sounds like the crystal on your ESC is loose, which is why the throttle blips every so often. A bit of electricians tape will sort that out no problem :-)
@wizk1 Thanks! I checked out the solder connections on the circuit board and everything's tight. I wonder if it was FM interference? I haven't had much trouble with it at other locations.
@wizk1 From what I've read, it's just the stock electronics in the plane... not very HQ. Also I believe the ACT was on, which cuts the motor power if you take the plane into too steep of a climb or dive. Good for learning, keeps you from crashing, but soon turned it off so I could have some fun!
