I mean look how music is today, black rappers signing about shooting the police and taking drugs, we have freaks like lady gaga and basically all songs are now made with monotone computermade sounds that does not appeal to the ear like music does with real instruments. I mean even today we can hear classical music in movies and commersials, and who haven´t hummed on wagners ride of the valkyres? The music today is decadent and sick.

@Nefus1988 You only take one slice into consideration. Dont compare music for masses, and music for select few. There was plenty of simple folk tunes back then, and you should compare it to that. Art music is a very seperate things. I am a violist and I got to play quite a few modern pieces. Not all of them are good
