Aww. So cute. ;D Be careful with the tubes though. Two of my degus, one was a boy the other was a girl, got stuck in one and couldn't get out. My girl was /wedged/ in one though. My boy was just stuck.
Also, becareful that they don't get bumble foot. If they don't have a place to rest their feet from those wire bars it could cause serious problems.
Thank you very much for your concern. We placed plenty of flat surfaces around the cage for the Degus to walk on for just that reason. Plus the bottom of the cage is all bedding. As for the tube we never let him play alone with it, only when we are watching him and can make sure he's safe. Thanks a lot and I'm glad you liked the video.
