What a soul. Marlene also worked with my wife. I changed my tune so fast! Iz was one of the most beautiful people on the planet, outside cover notwithstanding. But sometimes ya gotta be able to let it in. Aloha doesn't always come automatically.

"I'll Remember You" is one of my favorites. These guys voices blend in harmonies that are almost heavenly. Iz will be missed. But he left a treasure of excellent melodies for us to enjoy for the rest of our lives.

IZ is a beautiful expression of what any One of us can be when our heart is in harmony with our mind, Spirit and intuition. So much love did IZ express, wanting nothing for himself alone. For the Hawaiian keiki, that was one of the most beautiful aspects of his kikino his ahua tino ataahua! His presence is felt, because he is kupuna in our lifetime. Uphold the Kuleana for which he stood tall and strong. The keiki are the doorway to 2moro, Aloha ki a ratou in words and deeds. Mauri ORA!

Mereanataki, I wish I knew what all those beautiful words meant. I believe IZ visited me in 2005. My son and a friend heard him singing, I thought my friend had turned on the cd player and put IZZY in, cause I play him over and over and over again. WE all heard a chorus of OVER THE RAINBOW and we looked in the cd player and it was Dolly parton in the cd player , player was turned off. It happened. I know what it means. I can not watch a video of him without tears .. i love IZ. IZ liveZ

@creedworshiper I've had an experience too, a few years ago I often dreamed of IZ right before I coincidentaly found a book on hawai'ian guitar and started studying that.. But it wasn't until this year that I found out who the figure in my dreams was. I had a beloved pet 'cross the rainbow bridge' that week I found IZ's Memorial video of Somewhere over the Rainbow. It was like a revelation, that love never dies. I'm now studying the hawai'ian language too. RIP IZ and ku'u PJ u'i.

Iz was a beautiful man you must see everyone for there heart not there body. I am a wiccan from birth, and no one person is perfect and the comments that are cruel are just people who are really blind to life and love, and IZ had more love than anyone man could give in twenty lifetimes and I have never met him.
