A great place to camp is next to the North entrance of the state park.
Ichetucknee Springs Campground 386-497-2285. You can also rent tubes, rafts, canoe's and kayaks. Kayaking and Canoeing is great in the winter. The campground has 2 large game rooms with pool tables, air hockey and other games. There is a beautiful Fireplace in the game room. They also have a family Tavern. You can sit by the pond and have your morning coffee. Their web site has the same name as the camp ground .com

Good times at the river.
We take our system and loads of brew and enjoy the day.
In AZ. outside of Phoenix, This is our ocean.

I still remember our tubing trip down the Ichetucknee River 30 years ago! It's nice to know people still enjoy that kind of thing. I remember seeing snakes swimming past and hanging over in the trees! It was the best cooling refreshment in hot, sticky Fla. I miss those summer days!

i am in 5th grade and me and my class went there!it was so fun! when i first got on the river,i was so scared because i thouht an alligator was going to bite my butt off!so i had to hold on to my teacher tube!i kept on asking are we done yet?!but at the end it was fun.my teacher and all my bff made a train of tubes!it was the best day of my life!
