@thegoodhen alright it took a little longer to set up than i anticipated because the glass i originally made worked only in render so i had to do it through alpha but it works and i can zoom in now

@blendergaming Just out of curiosity... How did you manage to zoom in with keeping crosshair the same size? Yes and btw, I really recommend trying out Unity3D. Its lite version is super powerful while FREE! It used to be payed! And its faster than BGE, handles animations and effects better and has better interface while supporting Blender models and Python scripts.

@thegoodhen i simply went into cameras editing tab and went over to lens wich is 35 by default then hit i while in editing to insert frame and it pops up with insert keyt then hit lens and then go over to the timeline and move the marker to 200 then make the lens 235 and hit i enter lens again and then apply logic to camera if u want i will make a tut but that is basicly it just go check my youtube account and watch my most recent vid and it shows the zoom in progress in game engine

@XDegallaProductionsX I don't actually remember how to do it, but in one of the menus at the bottom there is a way to change the zoom in of the camera and you just make an animation with it starting at the regular and then zooming in. So you make it when you press your scope in button it plays the scope in animation along with the zoom animation and that the camera's in the right spot, and it should zoom. I hope I helped a little.

@P3ders3N1337 Than you would be very very really much right.But if you make that program the first time you need ca.30min to know the controls,1hour to understand what to do and 1-2days to make an object and maybe 1-3-7days to know how to use the game-engine or how to put the self-made items into a game.If you want to check it:Blender is for free(10,5MB),in english,and they are much tutorials(ok maybe not in english couse how i've said i am german).The latest version is 2.49b(i think).
