tiges over lions all day..theres clips n yutube of them fighting n tiger wins everytime...there used to b more gruesme ones they must of took off....it was hrrible it was an ld film from the 50s where they were fighting in a cage...the tigers r beter hunters they go out by themselves and r way mre successfull...this scene waas crazy i never scee a big cat go in the water for a kill like that

tigers and a lions are both the best in their own way...tigers are faster...lions are stronger...tigers got better reflexes...lions got better fighting experience...but their striking powers are the same...now if a tiger and a lion were to fight it really depends on the individual animal...for a lion how experience it is...for a tiger how fast it is...but either way they are the best at wat they do...i personally like lions but tigers are kick ass

tiger beats up a lion easily. the lions mane offers no protection against a throat bite. its are just hairs, not a steel shield. even african lions are no match to a bengal or siberian tiger as you can see in many many videos.

An african lion would win in a fight the mane will throw the tiger off and the lion has a bigger jaw span all the tiger lions fights you see are with asian lions which arent ass big as AFRICAN LIONS

Although some subspecies of tiger could be smaller, he's much more lithe.

In addition, tiger has a more practical way of fighting - he breaks the neck of his victim, while the lion is trying to suffocate it.

By the way, Panthera tigris altaica's normal weight is 300 - 400kg, Panthera leo leo max. 250kg. ;)

Wow! Nice video, tigers really are gret hunters, and also very fast considering their bulk. Bengals average 505 lb, Siberians 561, but both can be heavier on occasion, up to 690lb.
