@YankeesStadium2010 As mentioned in the video you can only downgrade if shsh blobs were saved earlier for that phone in Cydia. So follow every step written in the description. Read and make all necessary changes in your "Hosts" file on your computer. Then follow with downgrade. But even if you are successful in downgrading, u will only be able to Jailbreak -not be able to Unlock because your baseband will be different. On 4.1 firmware u can enjoy Gamecenter and jailbreak is also coming soon.

@bossmanx05 Yes ofcourse. Downgrading is only possible if shsh blobs were saved. If you get error 3194 then NO shsh were saved earlier and no luck in downgrading. Make sure to make changes in "hosts" file. Details are written in the description.

whats annoying is if you didnt know you need to upload the shsh blobs for 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 you cannot downgrade no matter what. i didnt know this so i have no shsh blobs for those firmwares, thus making it impossible for me to downgrade. for everyone without this and on a iphone 3gs that has never been jailbroken on 4.0 you will just have to wait until they come out with something that can jailbreak 4.0 without being previously jailbroken...it doesnt exist at the moment.

Hey emac thanks for the help I was on 3.1.2 jailbroken with Blackra1n, then used sn0wbreeze to update to 4.0 but I wasn't too happy with the FW it was freezing when I played games. I did everything on your tutorial video but I never received an error from iTunes. The only thing that didn't work was moving the itl file to the desktop and then opening iTunes. So I proceeded to run Blackra1n and it still worked like a charm. I updated to 9.2 and restored from the backup.

ummmm i did what you did the exact samething. i shift+restore 3.1.2 and then error 1015 then i downgrade to 9.0.3 then use blackrain and now it is jailbroken but the problem is that it says my sim card is unknown D= i have a gophone sim card and the carrier is AT&T. @hytchalngdpunk When you are done with downgrading, then remove itunes 9.0.3 and go up again to latest itunes 9.2. Now locate that 'itunes library" file (the one that we have to take out when we had old itunes version) back to same folder where it belongs.

Unfortunately this iphone was accidentally upgraded to iOS4.0 WITHOUT SAVING SHSH blobs. now the iphone will not get signal (needs to be unlocked).
