  • Nice Video and Panel! that scenery of Lajes,Azores Is?

  • @cinipaes The scenery was by "SATA Real Azores" who do not appear to exist anymore.

  • beautiful...did u make this panel?

  • @wilfredotour2 Yes.

  • @edetroit did you make your own gauges?, or did you use gauges from Payware Add-On airplanes, or freeware?

  • @wilfredotour2 This panel is completely custom made with custom gauges apart from Lee Hetheringtons VSI/TCAS and Reality XP's weather radar

  • And how come i have FSX and it isn't as realistic as this?

  • What game is this?

  • heyy ed, ive been playing flight sim x for a long time now, and i can never seem to get the landings right, i always seem to be slighty to the side of the runway. I do everything the tower says but i just cant seem to line the plane up with the runway in time before i land, if i do i always seem to land just short. i dont know how to find the localiser either, which maybe contribute to this, please help

  • nice video

  • 2:00 HOLY crap thats alot of smoke! :D

    Great video !

  • hey, who makes this Dc-8? s that the defaulft panel? does it have autopilot?

  • Hi again, what recording app did you use? How do i turn the plane during push back? Is Level D 767 a good add on??

  • I use FS Recorder for replays (freeware) and Fraps for video capture (payware)

For default pushback use Shift+P+(1 for left 2 for right)

What you really want for pushback is AES (payware) It is fantastic!.

Level D 767 is a very good addon.

  • I just got Level D 767. love it! But the [Shift + P + 1 / 2] is it the numpad one or the non num pad ?

  • The numbers across the top of the keypad

  • KK. Thanks!

  • Oh ya, the panel you made is it using FS panel studio?

  • Not really, FSPS is useful for placing gauges but that is about all

  • oh. i tot its for editing gauges..

  • again a great vid, from where did you get the scenery of Lajes, never found one, the DC8 is a great looking plane!

  • For Lajes google real azores

  • Fantastic video again! I'm just curious... Where did you find pictures for those fantastic side views and main panel bitmap?

I hope that one day some of your panels will be awailable as a payware or freeware product. Ed you are to talented designer and many simmers will be more than happy to have some of those masterpieces.

  • Blown away.....again! amazing

  • Eddie, once more you did it, and sure it wouldn't be you without a Tristar in the background ;)

kudos to you Eddie, keep'em coming

  • Blown away by your vids Ed. I am a real world pilot. Your Planning and execution of your flights are very professional. I had no idea FS 2004 could deliver so much realism. Awesome!!!

  • Thankyou very much! That means a lot to me.

  • Kind of you to include that AI Tristar in there, Ed... :) Was it Euro Atlantic?

    Great vid, as always!

  • Glad you noticed! It's a RAF Tristar

  • great :) i really like ti :)

    keep it up :)

  • Who needs FSX. Great stuff as usual Ed!

  • I love the tower view at 0:47 seconds. Why does FSX not have these its wrong!

  • very great video, it´s amazing, the sound, the panel, the aircraft.

    Very Great ,congratulations!.

  • Thankyou very much Pedro!

  • Very nice. How long did your flight take? Unfortunately FS ATC does not support Oceanic Clearances, Gander HF or Shanwick HF. I never tried it before, but I heard many things about crossing the Atlantic Ocean by plane.

  • I think the flight time is about 9hrs

  • Hi ed, I downloaded your Silverback Cargo and MK airlines liveries but flying them is nowhere near fun with the Aerosim panel :(

  • Never seen anyone use Eiresim's Dublin yet...ist it any good?

  • Hmmm Dublin is not covered by AES yet....and the previews of the scenery are not doing much for me..

  • I just want to know, where do you get the scenery's in ur videos? Do you make them yourself? or freeware or payware?

  • BWI is freeware TER is payware.

  • I see you fly FSX. I fly FS9

  • Again Ed, wonderful video, 5/5 as you mentioned earlier about your next thoughts directed towards the 747-200, maybe a Moscow - Hurgardah run with TransAero?

    Regards.

  • Moscow - Hurgardah run with TransAero?

I will put that in my diary. lol

  • could you ever do a 747 video ed? would be greatly appreciated

  • I am thinking of doing one next.....but it's a 747-200

  • Is this a payware or a freeware model.Where can I get it?

    Please respond.

    Thanks

  • The model is payware by Aerosim Classic Freighters Vol 2

  • Thanks a lot!

    Cheers!

  • so this is your last DC8 video?

  • Why do you ask?

  • well because I commented a while back and you said that you had 2 more DC-8 videos left but I think is your third since you said that

  • .....and?

  • I was just wondering

  • FWIW the next video will not be a DC-8. lol

  • VERY NICE JOB! GOOD SOUND TOO!

  • Wonderful!

Ed, would you mind posting your AES settings for the Aerosim models?
