This song and High Lonesome Sound are my favorite Peter Rowen songs and what a great band backing them up with Jerry Douglass also.

  • who's the mandolin player ?

  • @mandolinman1917 Mike Compton on mandolin. After this he left NBB to play with John Hartford and others, but replaced Roland White (who replaced him) a few years back. Most recently part of T-Bone Burnett's Speaking Clock Revue last month. He's got a killer bold Monroe-like style.

  • This was the best colaboration for both.

  • Of all the songs Peter Rowan ever cut, this is my favorite!

  • LOL! I love the banjo part on this, dunno why.

  • I didn't remember Danny Bonaduce being part of the NBB!
