  • Quickly becoming one of my faves... Signature sound.

  • awesomenss

  • @AndanteLargo This is beautiful. Amazing. I've been listening to a lot of your performances but i think this is definately at the top. Just fantastic. You really grabbed my attention when i saw you play the song Sarabande by Bach, I know it is not as common of a piece on guitar but i just recently learned it, and it was nice to hear it played with different character and feel. Thank you for the experience.

  • wow...nice acoustics

  • I like the "All lefts are reserved" bit at the end.

Magnificent playing. It'll take me years to learn this piece but I'll get to it eventually

  • great playing man! i absolutely love it!

  • you play like me... I would love to do a duet with you..

  • Cool !

    Immer die richtige Geschwindigkeit !

In any Works, he has the right Speed.

  • nice : )

  • Great composition, you've really made a great polyphonic piece. It souds like Bach so much that it gives me chills.

  • Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing your music.

  • Stunning!!!!

  • Amazing!

  • Dear fantistic guitarrist , (sory if my english is not good)

I think your composition has the spirit of Bach or something like that , i tougth it was bach until i readed the final coment .

  • damn you play so good it sounds lke you have 6 fingers

  • Great, My respect From venezuela andante

  • excellent composition. a good friend of mine is a great classical guitarist. we grew up listening to metallica, ozzy, pantera, some heavy metal influences. i was more partial to blues influences but appreciated the talent of metal guitarists, like zak wylde, dimebag daryl, and randy rhodes. as my friend turned me on to randy's style and classical ability i was hooked. what i rmember most was him day after daytrying to perfect (D) by randy rhodes. could you please post a compositionof D

  • w8 your per olav sweet =]

  • I am very impressed with your composition and your playing is very smooth. I've watched a few of your videos and really enjoy what you do. I'm kind of curious though if you have thought of changing the coloring of your notes by moving where your right hand is in relation to the bridge. You can really get some more sounds out of your guitar and really enhance certain passages just by moving your right hand closer or further away from the bridge. Great stuff though I really enjoy watching you play

  • Thanks! Appreciated.

If you have looked at some of my other videos you might have noticed that I use the position of my right hand extensively! Some say I move it too much towards the bridge and the fretboard... :-)

    But thanks for the tip.

    Per-Olov

  • @AndanteLargo Takes a very humble man to receive correction (Which was not needed) when your playing is as masterful as it is!

  • Amazing flexibility of his fingers.

  • sounds great!

  • I think this is a great composition. I'd buy any day and would love to learn it too. Great job

  • Extraordinary, there is really nothing else to say.

  • You haven't failed, you tried and that can never be a fail. You did good, I like to listen to this very much.

    Cheers.

  • This, you can NOT learn from notes... The topping is just GREAT! WAW! 100% respect, this is more than average... Nice!!!!!!!

  • wow really amazing good job !

  • Thank you for your beautiful, lyric playing - marvellus!

  • Bravo! Perfect performance, it was very joyful to listen your playing, many thanks! ** Bach rules :)

  • What microphone/ camera do you use ? The sound quality is amazing!

  • you don't failed...at the begining i though the piece was really from bach

"i have never heard this O.o"

then..when i read the description y realized that this was YOUR piece

    CONGRATULATIONS men...

todays is very difficult to find someone who compose baroqe and romantic..

everybody is obsessed with bela bartok...=/

  • Hi Per-Olav,

Im very impressed with your playing and encourage you to put more videos on YouTube. Where are you at in Sweden? Ive been to Malmo, Copenhagen, and Helsingborg and love it there. Take care!

  • Hi there.

I have a GITANO. Great thing!

I get it from Germany but I am sure it is to be found everywhere.

    Per-Olov

  • What kinda guitar do u use? Perfect cover!

  • Hi,

I play a Philippe Jean -Mairet from Switzerland. Please see more on it on my web page per-olovkindgren. com

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • Mille Grazie.

    Per-Olov

  • nicely done, my friend!! Very inspiring!!! You´ve got a brazillian fan!!!

    All the best!

  • Wow...I couldn't even play that on the piano and I've been playing for 20 years. You are very talented and I love the sound that comes from your playing. I am a long time lover of classical guitar, and have a few CD's in my collection, but none of them have as good of a sound as yours does. Bravo.

  • Per-Olov Kindgren... who is in this class? No other guitarist, I guess.

  • I listen to this on a regular basis, and find it to be far from failing in tribute to Bach! Excellent work, with such lovely music to my ears!!!

  • That is soooo wonderful!

  • If you havent already, could please do Canon in d minor?( i dont even know if i spelled it right)

  • @thisbekyle Canon is in D Major

  • Bach would be proud

  • This is like a piece for four hands! Amazing sound.

  • :-) Thanks. I felt like having too many hanse too! :-)

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • This one is AMAZING! I love what the left hand is doing along with it's intricate progressions! Just beautiful! IS this also available on your site?

  • Hi there! Thanks a lot! Appreciated.

Yes, this is available on my web shop both as Tab and sheet music.

I hope you will find it and also play it!

    Kindly,

    Per-olov

  • Hi, it's fun to watch something like this :) And your playing is great as always!

I have some suggestions that you might consider if you have the will and time :)

Sonata in D minor K. 213, "The Lover" by Domenico Scarlatti

Bach's Chaconne from Partita in D minor, BWV 1004.

And if you dare... The first fugue (Contrapunctus 1) Bach's Art of the fugue.

  • GOOD! You are master! :D

    5/5

  • This is so beautiful! You are truly an inspiration.

  • always such beautiful playing

  • great! 5 stars

  • hi per-olov how are you keeping the guitar up like that with both feet on the ground thanks

  • absolutely amazing! thank you for sharing

  • Super! I'm just starting classical and hopefully I'll be as successful in playing as you! I'm gonna go practice now. =]

  • Dear Peo!

You play the Air, Bourree in E minor, and Toccatta in D-minor so beautiful! J.S. Bach would surely have been delighted if he could have listening these wonderful pieces played on the guitar!

Rejoice, people continue with your beautiful guitar playing! Walter Tschol!

  • Thank you Walter! Appreciated. I love Bach's music so i am happy you like my versions...

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • du spelar riktigt bra! Jag får nostalgi när jag lyssnar på dina låtar för när jag sökte in till musikskola så lyssnade jag på din version av bach-bourree hela tiden typ :) Det va nog bra eftersom jag kom in!

  • Hej grattis!! Kul att du kom in! Fortsätt med att lyssna! Och spela!!

    Per

    Per-Olov

  • Such a serene sound you make! Just beautiful!

  • wow!!!! amazing composition i am sooo glad i started watching your videos again.this is fantastic.

  • Just Exelant...His Bach is REAL....

  • very good!

  • Wonderful!!

This Toccata has a very bach style

i like very much around 0:34 these chromatic variation!!

    Very Compliment!

  • Wow....

    Simply Wow.

I am sure if Bach were still alive (rest his soul) he would be very impressed by this.

You are such a beautiful player Sir.

I have not been so impressed by music for a long time. Maybe even since Bach himself!

  • You've been alive since Bach started writing? ;)

  • beautiful

  • i have enjoyed watching your videos very much. you differ from many skilled players in that the feeling you get across through your phrasing is excellent, and its not just good technique alone

  • I really do hope you decide to record this song for your album. There seems to be so few people today who posess the skill to play something so complicated, and the willingness to put the time and effort into such a complex piece. There may only be a small percentage of people who can appreciate how challenging this song must have been, so I want to thank you. I only wished you would do it more. I would love to create something like this, but unfortunately I lack the skill.

  • :-) well.... thanks :-)

    Per-Olov

  • Don't beat yourself up, Mr. Kindgren. I think this is as close to Bach as one gets! I really hope you record this on an album, I'll be the first in line. By the way, please tell me how you managed to get over that 'obsession with Bach', I can't seem to do it!

  • Thank you my friend. I am planning to record a CD this summer but if I am going to use this one, I am not sure yet.

I have not managed to get over BAch!! On the contrary! I love him more for every day in my life! What makes you think I got over him? :-)

    Per-Olov

  • wow... wonder what it would sound like transposed for the harpsichord.

it has a very baroque feel to it with the little trills here and there. excellent...

  • Ahhh. that I would love to hear! I like the sound of a harpsichord.

    Thanks!

    Per-Olov

  • Absolutely awesome! you have brightened my evening. thanks

  • Hi! I am sorry for the late reply. I have so many comments to read...

Thank you! I am happy I could brighten up your evening!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • it really sounds like bach

    hehehehe

    congratulations!!!!

  • :-) Thanks a lot. That is a nice compliment.

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • Complimenti , il tuo brano mi è piaciuto motlissimo.

    Per-Olov

  • Thanks a lot! Apreciated.

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • "Why not give the next/nearest person you see a hug!!??"? In this world it can be misunderstood as herrasment or that you are insane and be locked-up. I guess it is save to give you a big hug though....Thanks for the wonderfull music you play.

  • you're a great musician. I look up to you.

  • very good. The style is that one !!!

  • I think you're wrong ... you didn't fail. It's awesome! I agree with Liran -- time for the "PWV catalog!

    Sean

  • Might have missed this video! wow, you were obssesed with bach, just like me now! J.S.Bach forever :)

Nice tribute, it does sound his style, you're so good, maybe the next Bach? how about numbering your pieces in PWV? :) lol..

    Liran

  • Hi Liran,

How are you? I have been away for a while and i am back again.

So you are obsessed with Bach too!? Welcome! I am sorry to say it will probably never go away. You have to learn to live with it once you got it! :-)

All the best and thanks for listening to me!

    PWV... good one! :-)

    See you!

    Peo

  • Although Bach is highly respected in my mind, you are one of the few amongst his ranks.

Taking well known pieces meant for a piano and voicing it through a guitar is no easy task; yet you perform these acts as if they were nothing.

You are truly a great musician. Realization of such hidden talents would do the world better.

I'm sure I can speak for all of us fans here when I say that we're all looking forward to more of your work in the future. Keep your love and passion flowing.

  • WOW! What a nice comment. Thank YOU. I am very happy to read it. I am glad you like my composition. Not as near as good as Bach's... but I tried :).

Please keep listening and and I will play.

  • GREAT! that is one of the most beautiful peices of music i have heard! i dont know bach is but if this dont compare to him like you say i need to go listen to some of his music!. but that is simply BEAUTIFUL! great job!

  • THANKS A LOT! No this is nothing compared to Bach himself. but I tried my best. I am honored you like my try :)

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • Hey nice composition! .. how many years have you been playing? Any tips/advice?

    - Vinnie

  • Hi Vinnie! Thank you. I am happy you listen to this. I hae been playing and composing all my life. Minus 7 years...

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • Very nice - lots of people seem to be confused and think that this is a Bach piece...but then again, I'd take that as a compliment!

  • What a natural reverb ! It's bright, and bring it to your superb piece. Bravo !

  • Clapping...

For you and the mighty Bach

  • While there truly is only one J.S. Bach, it is also true that there is only one Peo Kindgren.

A lovely piece in the Baroque style.

  • Much, much respect my friend. I love your technique

  • Peo i think you are one of the best interpreter for Bach music.

    Good job

  • Thank you! Appreciated!

BTW: this is my own composition... .-)

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • If only Bach had actually written for the guitar... Imagine how awesome that would be.

  • well, he wrote some suites for lute which is not too far off...

  • That was absolutely AMAZING!!

  • Thank you very much!!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • Per-Olov, this piece is NOT a failure! I think it is wonderful! Bach has hundreds of years of music appreciation on you but he wrote for the same people. All you had to do was attend the church where he was working and you could hear the original for free!! :) I think it is a great piece and maybe I will have a go at it on mandolin. Thanks for being so giving of your talents!! Ken

  • Hi Ken,

Thank you so much! It's hard to realize that Bach was most known in his lifetime for his improvisations. People walked from Sweden to Leipzig only to hear him play on the organ. What wouldn't I give to have heard him only once...!

WOW. It would be nice to hear this on your mandolin!!

    Per-Olov

  • Thanks Per-Olov for giving me the opportunity to enjoy your beautiful music. Your'e a real inspiration, and I always look forward to new videos.

    Rene, Perth, Western Astralia

  • Hi Rene,

  • Wow...i f***ing love this!

  • A very nice composition...something you should be proud of!

  • Fantastic! I often wonder how many people you have inspired with your beautiful music.

  • Thanks!! I am so happy if I can inspire others to play! As a teacher, that is the best comment I can get!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • I'm ever so happy when I discover a so talented and expressive musician.....really, more happy for this than if I play decently a piece. COngratulations by heart.

  • WOW! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am honored by your kind words,

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • your whole outlook on life and love is beautiful, and it shows in your music i play piano im just starting guitar and i cant wait to get to any sort of level close to yours

  • Thank you! It's very nice said. I think if everyone played music, we wouldn't have time for war and fight. How can we fight when we have to practice? :-))

I hope you will get to learn to play the guitar too but please don't give up the piano! It's a beautiful instrument!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • YOU can play Bach !

    I am soo envious !

greetings from the sad friend from the south !

    sigh,

    vreci

  • Hallo my friend. Well, this isn't really Bach. I cannot compare to him in any way..

Why are you sad? Something happened?? Please let me konw., OK? Or did I misunderstand you...? I hope so.

    Your friend in the north!

    Hugs,

    Peo

  • すばらしい

  • ummm... thanks?

  • grazie ! molto bella

  • How can you say you failed at the end!!! I thought this piece was superb.

Listening to you makes me wish I had spent more time learning to play classical guitar at a younger age.

  • Thank you so much. I am happy you like it! So you played as a kid? I wish you would start again!! Please...?

    LOL

    Per-Olov

  • wow!

  • THX!! :-)

  • Bellísima!

    Saludos

    José Luis León, arpista.

  • Hi!! Thanky uo!! I am happy you like it!!

    Yours,

    Per-Olov

  • Excellent as always!

  • Thank you!! Appreciated!!

    Per-Olov

  • Sounds like Frescobaldi meets Bach meets Guiliani (the latter's cameo from 1:30-1:40). Nice! I'm a neo-baroque composer as well, and some of my compositions are uploaded to my channel. Thanks for all your beautiful guitar work, Peo. Will check back soon!

    Paul

  • LOL... you are right Paul! I know!! It's a terrible mix... I cannot deny my "modern" ears... the influences from those you mention are obvious!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • Hey Peo!!!

I absolutely love this piece!!!!it's wonderful!!! thank you for sharing...I hope you had a good time in NYC. I am taking my kids to Disney in a couple of weeks...which is not the same, but it's fun anyway!!!

    Take care,

    Mariana

  • Thank you Mariana! I was not in NYC. I wish!!! :) I was in Sweden. So you are going to Orlando? Bring some sunglasses! It's hot down there I am told!

Say hello to your kids and have a safe trip.

    Per-Olov

  • I think the old master would have liked to jam with you, Peo. After hearing the ease and precision with which you play this well-written piece, it is evident you love it, despite your declaration to the contrary. The marble comes off as a much better surface, too, with this baroque sound.

  • Hi Susan! Still feeding the seagulls? :) I wish I could join you and Greg and help making them (the seagulls) fat and big(ger)!

You know, when a piece is as old as this (not as old as BAchs though) I tend to be critical because I would probably do it different today. But thank you!

    Hugs,

    Peo

  • No, "El Mariachi", I am sad to say the gulls are back to fending for themselves and we are both back to work. Maybe you can feed them from the ferry.

  • :) You are reading our correspondance! LOL I hope you had a great holiday with the seagulls. And I wish you all the best at work. We ae soon leaving for France and Spain. Didn't we have a meeting/reunion there? Mallorca was it...?

    Kiss,

    Per (El Mariachi)

  • Hi Per! I was not totally facitious. In fact

I am very-very impressed by your ability to

get immersed in any kind of music, from Bach

to Mettalica, and compose in its style. - Athan

  • Hi Athan,

Thank you! You are always so kind! I am very happy you still listen to me and only have nice things to say :)

    Thank you!!

    Yours,

    Per-Olov
