No offense but even Rolex won't look so good on hairy arms. You have to get rid of all that body hair man! This isn't middle ages anymore, honestly how much of body hair ( including arms and legs ) do we need in this day and age. They're not needed today. And get rid of that belly too if you have one, before you put on a Rolex or any other prestigious brand on your wrist. Just an opinion of course, so no harsh feelings lad! I have some body hair as well so I'm hesitant.
amazing watch but i kind of prefer the submariner still...the old sea dweller is also ok, this is just not proportional. What is this music ? Its great? please share the track name with us Ian Blowers and company...
this shits too gaudy i would strongly prefer the datejust because its simple and thats what rolex is if i were to get something gaudy it would be a gmt master 2 and thats not evan that gaudy
I'm in the process of buying a Deepsea. Until now i've never been interested in Rolex. They just didn't have enough wrist presence for my taste compared to my other watches (IWC BP, Panerai Luminor).
After trying a Deepsea i was sold... The fit, finish, quality and construction is as good as anything out there. Considering the engineering involved and in-house movement it's actually very good value. I'm a Rolex convert.
@subsonic1980 I feel the same way about Rolex, in general. Until now, Rolex didn't appeal to me. However, The Deep Sea Dweller looks like a magnificant watch. Would you elaborate on why it's a good value. Why does this particular watch cost more than regular (stainless steel; non chronograph) Rolex watches? Is it the size, its abilty to with stand high pressures, and overall thickness that incur its increase price?
I think it's a combination of everything. The quality and attention to detail that have to be utilized, in order to build a watch of being able to withstand those passive pressures is simply amazing.
if i had more money i'd have bought this watch , all i had was 5000$ so i got an explorer 2. i'm 14 years old by the way all my friends keep staring at my watch and thinkig its weird for me to have one so expensive.
@TOUFICASOS What a coincidence, I had an original explorer when I was 14. I'm 22 now and wear a 2-tone SS/18KYG datejust these days. Which I'm thinking about trading in on a new Deepsea when Leonardo jewelers has their annual watch party. Or maybe I'll just keep the datejust for more formal occasions. Anyway, excellent choice for a first Rolex and I wish you luck with it and all future watches you will purchase (and you will purchase more, trust me).
only real men ware rolex hence the hair .

I hate the two tones because they have hollow mid band links instead of full, core, chunk links.

That Deep Sea looks fat and stupid. Rolex is now designing watches for the ghetto, not for James Bond. Pathetic.

The only Rolex I would even consider is a vintage Daytona.
