FYI they are part of reagalia from Masai tribe, one of prodest and ferocious in Kenya, they kill lions with just their spears and hands.Get into life guy.
Man I learned this song when I was like 7 in Germany and I've been singing it ever since but I never knew the name of it until now. People are always like, What are you saying?! Lol.
I lived in Kenya in the 80's. I loved Them Mushrooms and had their music which I lost. How would I get hold of their music? I still remember Amanda - nikupenda sana. (Anyway, I think that's how it went...
WHERE MANKIND CAME FROM WE HAVE TEACH EVRY THING. WE SHOULD TELL THEM. COOK YOU FOOD EVRY DAY DO NOT GET FAT OR DO NOT TALK A MAN, FOR MONEY. OR BE COME ISLAM, NOW WASH Y ASS, THEN YOU WILL WASH IF YOU ARE ISLAM.
HOPE ALL CUSHITIC COME TOGETHER ONE DAY JAALE SIYAAD HAVE PUT HIS FIVE STAR TOGETHER AFRO EARNED BEFORE FOR SHARIA PEOPLE WE GOING EARN THEM AGAIN PEOPLE AFRO CUSHITIC WILL COME TOGETHER ONE DAY.
Kenya Airways take note! This was the boarding music the first time I travelled to Kenya! Every time since six or more I have expected to hear this song!?!?....sadly not many times since? Kenya airways why not?
Lovely, happy song. Just got back to UK from Kenya. Love it so much! The watu are the friendliest, kindest souls on earth. And you can hear their happiness in song. We want to move there to retire.
@adege01 We went to Malindi, where I met an old "flame" from my childhood in Tanzania. I hadn't seen since we left East Africa in 1966, 44 years ago. She was 17, now she's 62! We also stayed in Karen in Nairobi for 2 days, & visited Karen Blixen's nyumba. Also met the lovely Juliet Maruru, web-manager of The Princess Project & Storymoja. We're coming back for another visit in January. Asante sana. Have you seen my 2 videos on my youtube site - about E Africa.
@adege01 Habari za subuhi? :-) Nairobi (Karen), then Malindi. We've been told we are allowed to retire to Kenya by the High Commission (who are lovely people) in London. We're going to build a nyumba (traditional Giriama, with makuti roof, etc) on a plot we are buying at Che Shale beach. I have plans to do good things to help poor watu! Asante sana ko barua yako!
I learnt Swahili before English, as a small white boy in the bush in nothwestern Tanganyika/Tanzania in the 1950's & 60's. It's the most beautiful language, & hearing it still makes me feel happy. I wrote a book about it, & there's a short video on youtube.

Africans are full of live and love, wana go back. thanks for posting this song.
@SuperTanvirkhan hey man, i do hope you know that your comment is absolutely ridiculous right? Jumbo means big and so jumbo bwana means big dude. The song is about welcoming tourists and not about big dudes. I mean if you like big guys go for it, but don't say there is a mistake in the song ;)
