  • Still love this trailer to bits! Reflections in the water is one of my all time favourites, I can watch it again and again and never get tired of it, so damn cool!

  • Why an hell did you use the theme music from Dr. Who?

UFO had it's own great theme song!

  • Great Trailer Mix A UFO Trailer In The Style Of A Dr Who Next Time Trailer i love both UFO and Dr Who So Good Work

  • No clips of the aliens? What did they breath? Wasn't it a green fluid of some sort?

  • @tbivie Every alien they captured breathed some kind of fluid and looked completely human. It was suggested that the Martians (yes, they came from Mars) were capturing humans and turning them into slave soldiers.

  • soud of Dr. Who tv show with the UFO tv show ?

  • This episode is one of the best (alongside "Kill Straker" and "The Cat With Ten Lives") the idea of duplicates of humans in this episodes has of course been tried before in television history but the acting here is first class. A Good performance from James Bond Nominee Michael Billington too. R.I.P. Mike and Ed Bishop...fantastic series

  • Loved that series but I am curious why you matched you little presentation with the Doctor Who theme music.

  • nice job 5/5.

There should be a sequel to this awesome series... they even made a new BSG -.-

  • I just love this series.. UFO Rocks.

  • Dr. Who's music definitely pumps up the volume!

  • I just saw the James Bond Movie Diamonds are forever. Ed Bishop was one of the scientists in the lab that Bond broke into. "Checking radiation levels".

    Damn I loved this show.

  • Michael Billington from UFO (Paul Foster) is also in James Bond. In The Spy Who Loved Me. He's on near the beginning.

  • anyone knows where to get the episodes?

    pls pm

  • Entire series is available on DVD. Try Amazon.

  • I think it's meant as a bit of fun, matching the style of New Who's "Next Time" trailers to other shows. It is a popular idea here.

  • i wonder if a remake would be any good?

  • my memory is of the end credits.i was in my high chair.2 years old.and can recall that bit.saw it again took me back.

  • Exactly! That is why we here at Area 51 have launched our "Rent-a-UFO" service. Your city can now order anything from a simple "fly-over" to a "full scale UFO-invasion". This week we have a special offer on our most popular service "Alien Abduction" or why no the Friday night special "Alien Seduction"?Call now, for a thrilling experience. 555-AREA51. :)

  • I loved this show! It was so cool in its look and eerie in its tone. I really love this theme song, too. I also love the look of the Moonbase girls. They were so sexy! God! Why don't they make make shows like "UFO" anymore? Today, it's all the same crap on every channel! What a real fucking shame.

  • BTW, I meant the theme song of "UFO", not the "Dr. Who" theme song used in this video clip -- which is also a very good theme song, as well.

  • The future isn't what it was.

  • Cool in its look and eerie in its tone? What a classic comment, that totally sums it up for me. TV producers who even think of trying science fiction should have those words engraved on their work benches in big bold letters. Tone: eerie. Look:cool! Indeed!

  • yup..i remeber watching this , i was probably six..and there was just something verrrry differnt about the "look and the tone" it was sexy without being gratuitous, had the damn best soundtrack, production design ...and the chicks man...

  • I'm hearing you! And if you like UFO stuff, check out my channel, "UFO Hunter" a series of short films inspired by...UFO

  • Make one with Space 1999 vs UFO!

  • That was very well edited—really built up the tension!

  • I like the Quatermass 2 trailers as well. BTW, Reflections in the Water is really a rewrite of/homage to Quatermass 2, don't you think? The discovery of a hidden dome-shaped alien base on Earth, zombie-like guards who attack Straker and Foster...

  • Do you know, that had never occurred to me, but now you mention it there are some striking similarities, aren't there...?

  • Yeah...I think The Man Who Came Back is basically The Quatermass Experiment with the alien possessed Astronaut returning from space too...though the ending where Straker goes up in a rocket and his co-pilot tries to kill him is the Leo Pugh ending from Q2.

  • Man! That really does look exciting with the Doctor Who music screaming and pounding through it, doesn't it? Well done, great trailer. And the episode itself is terrific too, even if you do have to use your imagination in the 50 UFOs attacking climax...

  • fantastic I cant seem to find a box set of the whold series.

  • Try DD home entertainment,as i got the entire series for Xmas, yippee!

  • This is brillant. Great video shots of one of my favourite episodes. Music fits nicely

  • Many thanks for your kindness!

  • Fantastic!

  • Can you email me this whole video???? Please.

  • Awesome TV show, but it has Dr Who music. Very strange

  • The idea (dubious as it may be) is to use the popularity of "Doctor Who" to try and draw attention to some other great, and often-overlooked, TV sci-fi.

  • Agreed...that fuxors the context.
