very nice vid bro ive used gigabyte for years its all i ever would for my personal nuilds thinking about getting this mobo i currently have a 920 on an x58aud3r do u think it would be a worthwhile upgrade everything i have now is working fine
One of the most detailed and informative reviews I've seen on youtube. I use Gigabyte myself and this board is something else. I personally feel todays processor power is more than adequate for high definition audio. Also, the included BigFoot NIC chip is really not necessary when your looking at so many variables in connection and test has proved it really is not consistent enough to make a diffrence. Great board any way you look at it though.
@Raven1180 ^ Comment regarding high definition audio is nonsensical. We've had that power for over 10 years. If you're referring to Realtek's HDA audio solution, that is not true HD audio, only a brand name. As per the Killer NIC not making a difference, it does indeed. Most importantly it offloads networking from the CPU giving about 2-3% power back to the CPU. Improves ping ever so slightly as well.
Niel didnt get his honourable mention for being a sexy poster model at the end :-P
