@mike2005gto Parasite Eve was a novel in Japan, which was then adapted into a movie. That movie was then further adapted into a game (They talk about the book events through Maeda, the scientist. The events in japan he references are from the book.)

Not many game storylines go through that much work.

I have played Parasite Eve several times and enjoyed it every time! My favorite scenes are when Sheeva transforms (a reference to Shive from the Final Fantasy series) and when the Mitochondria goo attaches to the T-Rex in the museum.

This game is worth much more than the $6 I spent on it when I downloaded it off the PSN. I took a huge leap with this game and it turned out to be a fantastic experience, so I can highly recommend it. It is such a shame that the Parasite Eve series was not given the proper treatment is deserved. With all that said, I am gonna go play some Parasite Eve now.

@iamadonutface Trust me, I didn't beat Resident Evil until a couple months ago after many past attempts. The funny thing is, I took a break from Parasite Eve to play Resident Evil 2. But the map in RE2 is your best friend, otherwise you will be walking around looking for doors to open with a key you spent hours trying to find in the first place.

I played Parasite Eve II before I had ever seen this one. Eventually I had found this version and tried to play this version but I couldn't bear it. I don't remember how far I played before I decided "NO MORE!" Great design but the graphics were too dated to overlook and the lack of voice acting didn't help the matter. But parasite Eve II get's away with it since I hear voices when I play that game. So I guess I still had some imagination left when I played Parasite Eve II.

My favorite Playstation game of all time. I was actually lucky enough to find an original 1998 release w/the demo disc for $30.00 a few weeks ago. Has anyone seen the prices for this game on E-bay? some are insane. My copy is used but it's been taken very good care of. I just beat that huge ass spider a few nights ago and now I'm in the warehouse area. I can't believe I remembered how to beat these bosses after a good 10+ years away from it.

I love this game. Had to import it as they didn't release it in England. I finished it after many attempts at the last boss. (That bloody baby ha). Finished the 2nd one too. After the generally positive 3rd Birthday reviews I'll be getting that and I urge eveyone else to do so as well so they release Parasite Eve 3 proper :)
