  • in what situation will you use a tape measure when fixing a washing machine?? wtf.

  • thanks tim

  • any idea on how to clean the dust from washing machines....My Model is Philco its a semi auto one ....opening from top ...!!!

the prob is where the water normally drains from...a collection of dust comes out from there..so is there any way to clean out tht dust in such machines....!!!???

  • @sinfulltalking I think I have the same issue as you do, with my MayTag washing machine. I'm getting streaks of LINT. I've stopped it right after it drains...right before the rinse cycle starts. And I can see the streaks of lint caked on. I've tried a cup of distilled vinegar in the wash. I've tried soaking(for hours) an empty, full load of hot water with a gallon of distilled vinegar.

  • @sinfulltalking I've removed and cleaned the inner basket and ring pieces and the hose from outer tub to the pump. I've tried different detergents. And I've tried Calgon water softener. I STILL HAVE THE LINT. Helpppp.

  • I thought vinegar and baking soda cause a lot of foamy eruptions O_O
