If you are getting that problem then at the step at 2:50 where the "install program" field is type "cmd /c test.bat" without the quotes or what ever the name of your .bat is for example.

Awsome, I learned a lot. But just one thing: This is how to make an installer for programs. If you really want to turn an .bat to an .exe use a program called  bat2exe converter. This will make the batch an exe wich will run just by clicking it. :)

Right click desktop. Click New > Shortcut. Then press browse. Find your .bat file

and click it. Then press next. Then rename it to blablabla.exe.

Then finish. Now you should have it on desktop! Right click it. You can rename it whitout the .exe

Right click the .exe file then click properties and there you can change the icon!

Help, when I click the .exe it doesn't open the selected bat file, instead reads:

It isn't a installer, windows thinks its an installer, it runs the program didn't you see? And you can make sure it doesn't do that added on bullshit.

hey man nice tut!! i tried this before to make a 2gig files for extractions and it didn't work when i open the .exe file that it created it error out lol!! anyways since .bat files are illegal then what you can do is just use the .zip or winrar and put the .bat file in there and in your good to go. i used .bat files to test pinging on all the computers in my network.( too lazy to type them all) lol!! so just create a .zip and your good to go.

Batch files are illegal to send. Executable files are not. I can't tell you anything about your particular program.
