  • the arcade isnt abandoned all the players are dead

  • There's nobody on this video game, There's nobody on this video game, there's nobody on this video game, there'.......................

  • O.O... Did I just see Mr driller 2 arcade???

  • Playstation and cheap iOS games killed off the arcades. The pinball machine, is based on a movie that was funded by the Canadian taxpayer.

  • Would it be legal to just take one of these arcades and drive off with them?

  • I would just put them in my car and drive them home, what a stupid place to put them.

  • fucking machine ate my money.... now what do i do...lol

  • Hey, nice job...

But it could have been longer :)

    Thanks...

  • So sad. Soon there'll be a day when kids have to go to Youtube just to see what an arcade looked like.

  • An arcade should be the electronic equal to a pool hall.

It should be dark with limited lighting in given areas.

The ideal would be within the food court area, but off to the sides somehow.

The games should be classics, read old worn units that have seen better days.

But like the payphone, this is out of fashion, people can play games on the portable console that is the cell phone.

  • They had dark stalkers! OMG want want want!

  • abandoned well if nowon wants them TAKE THAT SHIT wait ABANDONED WITH POWER ? PLAY THAT SHIT THEN TAKE EM

  • abandoned well if nowon wants them TAKE THAT SHIT

  • :45, Best arcade game ever made!

  • I think it is abandoned. Because its not full with games.

  • This arcade is not abandoned it is just not busy

  • This isnt abandoned. The title is misleading.

  • F*cking home video game systems---THEY did this!!!

  • @snarkus63 Yup I cant image thw world 30 years from now it will be like the jetsons work home work home.....

  • That game in the COPS cabinet near the end is Sharpshooter by P&P Marketing, makers of the Police Trainer game near it. Even borrowed some of the same sound effects.

  • What? They just walked off and abandoned the video machines all by themselves?

  • @InfinityXion someone walking by: hey! you cant tak- you: HISSSSS

  • why was it abandoned? How come nobody ever explains why the place was abandoned when they post these videos? Also, why would they leave all the machines plugged in? That's just wasting money and electricity.

  • @xclefaniex exactly my thoughts too.

  • &'z Because they & he Cheated

    >his FRIENDS Bashed open a Money dispenser they cheated their lives by Using those quarters represents each their lives wasted in quarter waster Games.

    Leading to each players Death.

& they even get greedy & Try to Get even more quarters killing off more friends on the line Unwilling Unwaiting to be sacrificed Blood Curling deaths!

X out a White Skulls on the screens they lost at.

Could be the best ep Idea ever.

  • >Also he sacrifices his friends Lives & kills them unwanted

Some get Smashed , eaten via Gaming elements coming to life.

& even Torn apart in block graphics dying inside a game as their lives are marked as X-ed Out skull..

as he has done in almost each one, till Only he is left alive & ages & dies a corpse corps.

skill glued hands on the Arcade Joy panels sticks.

A janitor walks in years later to clean up pieces & finds the dead Guy there still clutched onto the panel controls. Lols* spooky!*

  • >"COOLZ a HAUNTED ARCARD ROOM!*

    Filled with Evil spirits & challenges to overcome;

Each arcade game represents a terrible or Childhood moment in your life to over come,

A Good Twilight Zone type 80's classic Ep idea of mine ..

EACH One the small Teen plays & beats Or loses Something BAD Happens to his body AGE & limbs & the last game is his death to his coffin there.

All worth the fun all worth the playing. rightz?!

  • Walking too fast with the camera and its too giggly......motion sickness...

I miss the old 80's arcades.....they were awesome!

  • not even a galaga machine...? really?????

  • This is really sad :(

  • @WAANGTHEZOMBIES

You Super Turbo? Pfft. Come on.

A no-skill useless fuck like you? Like I already said, go back to Mario.

  • @WAANGTHEZOMBIES

Wow haha how could that even be possible? Going by your garbage channel and your dick face that sounds more like what a amateur like you faces all the time in the hands of a preschooler.

?? Hate on arcades? The redundant ones like those in your area? Of course, anytime.

What an ugly failure that can't manage any game.

  • Chuck norris was here

  • Do you know John Connor?

  • I have never seen an arcade that is so bright and dead-end as this. Cool find! The atmosphere enhances its abandonment appeal.

  • The Johnny pmnemonics pinball machine! I want it

  • I want that Primal Rage machine. Seriously. 8l

  • Get a dolly and wheel out that Vampire Savior =)

  • It's not genuinely abandoned as long as electricity is used in the room, and the games are technically functional, and open for business. BTW: If it's Niagara Falls, NY your talking about, that's understandable. The whole commercial and industrial areas are pretty much dumps.

  • i would break into those things and take the money

  • Awe the arcade...

  • Spooooky

  • Holy crap. I wish I had a few of those old arcade games. They're becoming quite the collectible as they are actually becoming rare.

  • Wtf? Why didnt you show the game in the back?

  • you walk way too fast, and you don't even bother zooming in on the games.

anyways, the vampire savior cab is unplayable because the stick on the 1p side is above the fucking buttons.

  • What's the game between Soul Edge and Cruisin' USA? That's the only one I didn't recognize. I was impressed to see that they have Vampire Savior! I've never seen that in the wild.

  • Never did I think a room so BRIGHT could be so downright DEPRESSING. Not only that, but these games are SOOOO old, even old as hell for '07. It's like the owner just did "eenie meenie meinie moe" to pick random games and stuck them in an arcade.

It's like a living body with absolutely no soul :-(

  • I admit I would outright steal Super Chexx

  • depressing as fuck

  • capkom!!!!

  • I want to collect them all!

  • Worst arcade ever.

  • This is horrific. In the 80's I used to worship our local arcades....I can't believe where the time has gone....my God has it really come to this?

  • Where is this mall? That Pacman machine is worth big bucks...

  • Kind of plain, can't see it making much money. Where is this mall? It looks famillar like MA or NH.

  • The room is too bright for an arcade.

  • @emolike11 ok, I guess its not abandoned; its deserted.

  • @emolike11

you didnt see the gatorade bottle on the second or third machine?

  • Those are worth some money.. Classics

  • 0:37 is that a claw machine tht red thing in the back

  • Somewhere, rotting away in the arcade of an antiquated, dying mall, is a "Polybius" cabinet. I just need to find it. (No, I wasn't intentionally referencing that Simpsons gag, either.)

  • It looks like whoever ran that arcade just stuck a classic Ms. Pac Man amongst a lot of crappy fighters, and threw an arcade sign on the front. I doubt that arcade had been running since the 80's. In just about every mall, there's a little game room of some kind, charging people almost a dollar to play a game they could probably play online for free, or on another gaming system. Arcades in the 80's were much more fun, not some dank, plain, blindlingly white crap-hole like this.

  • @kaboompoop, it looks like it's been abandoned since the mid-late '90s. Games like Primal Rage and the Johnny Mnemonic pinball from '94 & '96 gave it away. Even in the 90s they had proper, dimmed lighting.

You're right, this super-white fluorescent setting is truly awful.

  • @kaboompoop SO true. Though unfortunately Game Rooms aren't as ubiquitous as they once were. The arcade scene is dying a grisly death. Seems the only things that are surviving are either filled with ticket redemption games or mixed with lan cafe services. It's a God damned shame that we have to rely on trinkets and game consoles to keep arcades alive.

  • @kaboompoop Thumb down'd for saying Vampire Saviour is crap.

  • this video makes me sad inside.

  • wow no vandalism omg :0

  • that's sad. hard to find decent arcades these days. the only ones really left around here are the cheesy family chain ones that have nothing but shitty ticket games. i want my early 90's arcade back again. the one i spent the better part of my childhood practically living in... :(((((

  • this is hands down one of the creepiest things ive ever seen. its like too clean n stuff wohhh

  • It is like a weird dream. Better yet a bad dream.

  • This is like a weird dream...

  • what a dump!

  • so sad

  • That arcade is absolutely pathetic..........it's like a nightmare............so sterile and bright, the exact opposite of what an arcade should be. These need to be dark and seedy, like back in the early 80's.....

I was half expecting to see some giant lab rats playing those games or something............it's like the someone took a clip from the old George Lucas movie "THX 1138" and superimposed a few games into it.

    So sad...........

  • what garbage you cant just throw a bunch of old games in a bare space and then expetc it to make money that "arcade" is pathetic

  • There used to be an arcade at the Brookfield Square Mall here in Brookfield, WI, but it got replaced by a Gamestop a while ago.

  • Fucking Gameslop, I hate Gameslop.

  • i prefer play 'n trade over Gamestop anytime. some of those Play 'n Trades even have those multicade cabs.

  • I like Play N Trade more too. But the one near me shut down.

  • for me, there was one near me, but now, the closest one is near the florida mall. man, did i spend 20 bucks on many games including Winter Games for the NES (now infamous due to AVGN) and the SNES port of Pit Fighter.

  • it not abonded its just a small arcade

  • Looks more like a Potemkin arcade, hiding the fact that the mall can't find tenants.

  • You mean Potemkin from Guilty gear. What does he have to do with dead arcades? lol.

  • Oh man, Police Trainer! What a fun, if simplistic, game.

Many a quarter I've put into that title.

  • If it is abandone, why are the arcade machines running?

  • The whole mall seems abandoned.

  • Yeah this is the real big issue, it's MUCH cheaper in the US to play at home then at an arcade. It's more social to play at an arcade but it's a massive waste of money to do so. I've seen arcades were you have to pay $1 to play the games. That's utter bullshit. I don't care if it's Hot Sex:The Arcade Game. You make it so it's a quarter to play!

  • Look up Virtual Arcade 1984. Also, it's true that Arcades go out of business not because people don't like them - it's because they started charging WAY TOO MUCH MONEY for each arcade. I stopped going when Pacman was costing me 75 cents a game, and other games went up to 1.00. Adults like arcades, but they're mainly for kids. And kids aren't going to be able to sink that type of money in them. Get a arcade like 'Virtual Arcade 1984" charge 25 cents a game, and sell concessions.. it could work.

  • For being abandoned, there sure is a lot of extra electricity going through there.

  • Those were actually some pretty cool games....most of them appeared to be working, too.

    Should be darker, tho...

  • weird but, I would love to just spend the day there with a couple of friends

  • rofl not one person in there.. pretty sad.. when i was a kid a place similar to this would draw like 20-30 kids easily

  • you could probably buy an old console and those exact games for less than it would take to play those for 10 games

  • Dark dead mall?It looks pretty well lit up to me.

  • FIGHTAN GAEMS

  • The games are still working

  • An abandoned arcade mall that still pays its electricity bill ? Wake up

  • That is a real shame. If I lived close to it I would be there for Ms.Pac-man.

  • wow, interesting video. if i lived nearby i'd spend a lot of time there. almost like it's your own.

  • A Johnny Mnemonic pinball machine. Imagine that. The vid was really depressing, I miss being able to walk into one. Consoles catching up changed the gaming landscape though, not fighting games. Those were the only games keeping the last few in my area left on life support before they vanished completely.

  • Pinball games make me feel nostalgic too, and they went downhill well before arcade-style video games did. You had the simple pinball games in the beginning, and then there were innovations like Centaur and Haunted House, then Black Knight 2000 and Dungeons & Dragons...I think the last new pinball game I played was Lord of the Rings, back around 2004. Some pinball games had too much playfield clutter, but most were pretty fun to play. And I miss them plenty.

  • that really looks odd that there is no one there.

  • this brings a tear to my eye. it's sad how the arcade died.

  • yea, all the good machines disappeared and all that was left was crappy 1 on 1 fighters...then...they all disappeared..

  • agree with you...i think that around the years 1991-1997 the arecade business really went down hill...specially since in 1997 the playstation and dreamcast were released, thus giving the players the chance to play many of the games available at the arcade in home.

  • 1995 for the PlayStation and 1999 for the Dreamcast. Both dates September 9.

  • Drug front.

Place records $10,000.00 a month income.

    Maybe...?

  • Similar to the Columbia Mall in Buckhorn/Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

  • if i would be there all those games would been already draged to my house lol

  • WOW!

A place like that is SUCH a hard find.

Your very lucky to have gotten this on film.

  • I think they're just storing the games there hoping to make a buck or two.

  • It's probably a mall store that moved out but they stuck the video games in there (without renovating anything) just to make a few bucks off of.

  • Is this place actually open? If so, I'd be there all the time.

  • LOL

  • Its like looking at old ruins.. once sprouted with life and fun.. now a mere memory that most people couldn´t care less about. I kinda saddens me to look at games like Ms Pacman just standing there collecting dust.

  • I want the Ms. Pac Man game!

  • Are they selling those arcade games and candy machines? I'd take the candy machines in a minute.

  • I want to go there!

  • that place has a lot of cool games to be that empty. i'd be there all the time.

  • Wow, there's a lot of wasted space n that arcade...

You sure don't see a lot of "COPS" machines in the wild, either. There used to be one in my local arcade, and it was a freaking monster. A dollar a shot, and very unforgiving...

Trying to drive and shoot at the same time was awkward, and all too often, you'd see "YOU'RE DEAD!" in that familiar "VCR on-screen display" font. By that time, the concept of interacting with pre-recorded laserdisc video had already been done to death...

  • its not abandoned cause power is going to the games

  • @matt052196 looks like you need to learn the definition of "abandoned"

  • i love the summit mall. the big arcade kinda roxx. that tennis game is wicked good. and bowling at the krows nest is even better.

  • Why are the machines still on if it is abandoned? Is it just slow business or one of those that you come and go as you want-no supervisor?

  • its in the summit park mall in niagara falls.I go to it all the time and they have stores but its a really crappy mall.

  • The only thing that is good about this mall is the arcades! The Krow's nest is excellent. The only stores worth visiting are Sears, Steve and Barry, and Bon Ton and probably only if you are female. The rest of the mall feels like a flea market with people hocking their goods. Pretty much every small storefront fails here, fleamarket type stores open up but they shut down quickly, I have seen many fail. If its not a chain store, it will fail in this mall.

  • hey now, there's Generations Music and Phoenix Arcade too! In fact, I'm heading up there later on today myself.

  • @SaraAB87 Holy fuck you're a female? You sound like a dude!

  • PACMAN!! :D

  • Mrs.Pac-Man!!!!!

  • OK, saw it :)

  • I know this may sound weird but I would have dreams about stuff like this everynow and then, where i'm in a place and theres old arcade games there. And there just happens to be that creepy lookin weird game in the corner part of the arcade. Usually dreams like that had me wondering what it meant.

  • Im the smae way i love this kind of stuff

  • slipknot, that doesn't sound weird at all. I often dream I'm walking through an arcade (which, according to my dreamer's dictionary, supposedly means that intriguing temptations will be put in your path). Often I'm looking for older "electromechanical" type games, or very unusual pinball machines multi-level playfields or other games within them. And I usually find them.

  • they mean "abandoned" as in "Dead time" meaning the mall is open but (almost) no one is in the building

  • an ABANDONED mall with the power still on... um, no. There is a difference with just closed and abandoned. Dixe Square... THAT is abandoned.

  • & in a spiffy state of deterioration to boot.

  • U know what ur talkin about good urban explorer here!

  • Ok the arcade is abandoned but is this mall still open with shops in it?

  • I am not sure, the games might belong to the owners of the mall. It just seems they have been dumped there from another mall though, because these same games used to be at another mall near me, but had to be removed when they removed the arcade to install more cell phone provider stores.

  • What the hell? The owners just left it?!

  • Summit Park Mall in Niagara Falls, NY.

  • What mall is this?
