My roommate has a Macbook. We got internet. His wireless card didn't work with our router, so he had to get a new router (a new wireless card from Apple would have been more expensive). It only connects to some wireless networks when it feels like it.

Recently, he had to schedule an appointment at the Mac store, which is about 40 minutes away, so that he could ask Apple for a replacement Magsafe connector, since his failed for a third time. Silly Apple user, you need to pay $80 for that!

I use them both, but I get more done on my Mac because it requires less effort. It's not perfect but it works well. I'm not obsessed with the price, you DO get what you pay for. I don't see how this alleged prettiness influenced me to purchase a Mac Mini. I needed a computer w/o a monitor cause the PC that was attached to it was dead!

i'm a pc user and i just been using mac for about a year now, and there are alot of stuff that i can say mac is better, for people who have not use a mac are bunch of lamers thats why they say mac are shit but its actuly much better in other ways, i think the only down side for macs that they are much expensive compared to cheap pc's, and limited games and poorly supported sometimes. but when it comes to OS, mac's OSX Tiger is far more superior that windows xp.
