i actually visted the breeder today, tho he only had pup and a female to show me. she was much smaller than i expected but impressive and even imtimidating until we sat down then she was ok and let me pet her. theres quite alot of violent burgularies where i live (one 5 doors down last night) and i want a powerful dog that can 'hold its own' yet still be part of the family and not a 'monster' on a lesh
lovly dogs, im getting a bb this summer and visting the breeder this weekend. might also get a rescue dog for a buddy. bet no ones ever jumped ur fence!! lol

Xena the female is a Tosa Inu(Japanese Mastiff).Pieke the brindle youngster is a Boerboel(African Mastiff).

The Boerboel is a very nice breed.
Unfortunately not all Boerboels have a nice character and temperament.
So be carefull where to buy a Boerboel choose a good breeder.
Whe were lucky to have a good breeder,Pieke is very social and has a good temper.
Both of my dogs aren't easy but do it very well together.
True i have no complaints about there guarding the house and garden.
They can come in but can't get out......
