Yeah. I think much better. Although you're misunderstanding my point. I know the Beatles wrote the song, amazing writers but their musical ability in terms of vocal range and general technique is rubbish. They're only legends because they started a new genre other than that, they're pretty average, anyone can easily sing their songs. Ray Charles made "Let It Be" an amazing blues version which is what that already great song was missing all these years. Hope this clears it up.

If you truly think they do not have vocal range listen to their song "Oh Darling!" and you'll see that Paul McCartney has a lot more "range" than you thought he ever did. And listen to "Don't Let Me Down" also and you'll see that John Lennon has as much vocal range as the next guy out there. I'd def be interested in what you thought..have a good one

I think their songs a vocally easy to sing. I'm not saying they're bad songs, they are great and when they were recorded, they were one of their kind. But the vocals are simple plain and unfortunately in my opinion, boring. There is no soul to the vocal as if they don't feel the song. Lennon replied that he wasn't even the best drummer in the Beatles. to me, the Beatles weren't necessarily about amazing instrumentals or vocals. they seemed to have a close bond or friendship that didn't need to be announced; you just knew. there was no trading of band members, anyone dropping out. they just seemed to enjoy the work that they did.

I just don't think that a band with their vocal and instrumental ability (Not song writing ability) could make it now.
