  • your brain is not set in stone... neuroplasticity any one ? so yeah you do become antisocial by bashing monster heads in all day. you lose other capabilities too like the ability to write music, poetry, give good massages, you miss out on growing your own food, enjoying psychedelics and becoming one with yourself. oh man .. wow luzers

  • and extremes? you could argue videogames are extreme in the first place because its an expantion of boardgames.... , honestly all has been said in the video its about yourself and nobody else. you dont need your parents to tellyou anything. and if you are angry because you would have prefered to spend your time on something more worthwhile then i say now is your chance and do something usefull. and addiction is an illness. if wow doesnt cause it something else will. unless you are strong.

  • good video. but honestly i think those people who suggest wow equals crack and heroin wont be persuaded by rational arguements. infact anyone who says wow is like an addiction doesnt know any addicted person themselfs. I played wow and I played it alot. I have an alcoholic parent. and hearing someone suggest the 2 things are the same just makes me feel sorry for the person because of its lack of knowledge. and parents who come up with this shit should never be allowed to have children. :)

  • There are 3 main points....1) People need to stop looking for excuses for their problems and start looking for solutions, most of you had your problems before you started playing. 2) No one has the right to tell you how to live your life. 3) Stay the hell out of peoples business and focus on your own damn life. You are not so perfect that you can definitively tell someone else how to live. NO ONE IS!

  • To all of you who have watched my video, I offer my thanks. To all of you that have posted comments on my video, you have mostly missed the point. The point of the video is not really to defend those people that play the game 24/7. It is also not intended to deny that many people that play WoW might have emotional problems.

  • This is a good true video.

  • I love how everybody assumes because you spend large amounts of time playing a video game your addicted to it. Following this line of reasoning everyone that listens to music all the time, watches more than 2 hours of television a day, reads a book, or goes to a sports games and memorizes everything they can about the players of their favorite team needs to seek immediate psychiatric help. You're all addicted to something.

  • stupid ppl thinking that extremes are not unhealthy i can prove you are so worng stupid shit WOW its cool if u play it for a while everything in extreme is bad think about it when you are watching you future so then u wont be a fat ass with no friends and without a girlfriend

  • Fuck yeah I have no life x)

  • yes keep playing WOW for 15 hours a day have no life no friends be retarded

  • sorry people wow is extremely addictive i've seen it played. It is your life style but i lost friends you would rather play then go out and i know people who have lost there jobs and there wife children cause of W.o.W.Like i said it's your freedom and your lifestyle to play it but it is very addictive.

  • Screw what someone else says, be honest with yourself. Is being immersed in an artificial world what is best for you? Then do it. I played one year, got good at it, decided I was neglecting too much in real life. But I think someone who is out of shape, poor health, doing bad in school or otherwise going where, no "out of game" social ife, then saying there is nothing wrong with playing WoW 20 or more hours a week is not being honest with themself.

  • Why not play WoW until you can't afford to live anymore and then kill yourself? It's more enjoyable than working 12 hours a day and then dying two years after retirement and you probably got as much leisure time out of life ("leisure" depending on how much epic drops stress you out). There are plenty of painless ways to kill oneself.

  • WTF are they afraid we are going to do a 25 man raid in a real city. lol

  • I don't kinda get this message ... An addiction is addiction, be it a video game or drugs. I don't see the difference between a heroin addict or an addicted MMO player. The part about being born anti-social is total nonsense. I have living proof in the form of my friend. We used to hang out, he was an out there guy, now, he is cooped up in his room, has trouble talking to anyone and is just negative all the time. In the end, yes, it's personal responsibility. Choose life the way you want it.

  • @TomasUjhelyi your friend is probably dealing with something that is making him depressed and wants to be alone, and a heroin addict is addicted to the chemicals in the drug, what chemicals do you get from wow besides having a good time? your not hurting your body by playing wow, its just seen as a problem because it isnt normal to want to play a video game for that long, and if you quit heroin you go into withdrawl, does that happen with wow? hell no, you might wanna play but you arent in pain

  • Soooo TRue!

  • lol all u fat nerds. keep throwing yoru lives away ahahahahhahah

  • @Clevix And you clearly have nothing than to type "WoW" into the search box and troll videos, nice kid,now gtfo the computer please.

  • @Clevix you seem to be doing it quite well trolling on youtube loser.

  • Let that be a lesson of life. From Twisted Sister lol

  • Its simple people. If you wanna play play. If you get bored stop. But please for the love of god dont stop playing to be more social. Social people nowadays are people such as politics and freaks...and while you have every right to be a freak do yourself a favor and just dont be social...

  • nice song lol

  • actually WOW is now more of a casual game more than ever

  • 0:16 D&D yes i can say death and decay! :D

  • it's pretty obvious some people do play too much. i mean when u don't sleep for 3 days playing not going to the bathroom or eating...

  • I have not played the game in 6 months.

What I feel leads me back is the hope that I can have as much fun when the game first came out. But sadly I am chasing a fruitless dream. I just tell myself that every time I think of this game. Works so far.

  • 1:39 what the hell is he doing dancing like that????? XDDDD

  • whats it called if you were anti-social before you started playing wow

and if you know you play to much but dont care

  • @dean3195 apathy?

  • Its a shame that WOW is BOP.

  • @XSkorpz, you rly dont understand him. hes saying the real problem isnt the game, its something that has been going on that makes him want to be in this game. Maybe the game has become too addictive for the particular child and that needs to be handled but also there has to be an underlined meaning. Just taking the game away wont solve the problem, its not so simple. Matter of fact it could make him/her resent you more

  • I met my girlfriend online :P

  • 49994 views :D (ive played wow since release and it never gets old for me:D)

  • First of all, you can actually make "real" friends in the game and even meet in wow for guild meetings. What's wrong with a little home away from home in game? Also, did the WoW background video make anyone else wanna log on? haha

  • He might of had some flaws, but the thing behind it was nailed. The bottom line is, do you play wow? Did you used to play wow? Are you bitching now that you can't play wow? If the answer is yes to any of the following... Then screw off... Who are you to tell people what to do, I don't care if you just think you're saving someone because truley... uh, YOU'RE NOT! MIND YOUR OWN BUSSINESS!

  • there is 2 ppl in the world:

Those who are locked to what is right and what is wrong. (example, u think that sociality is one thing .. go and drink a bear with some friends)

and those who are not. (example, u think sociality springs from all kinds of human contact.)

in my opinion ... illl stick to the 2nd one :3

  • wow that paragraph took 500 chars haha

  • this guy is spot on but he missed something..in the real world u are influenced by everyone therefore others can make u do things such as do drugs or hurt yourself but on wow u cant really get influenced because its on the computer if ppl that are doing drugs played some sort of online community game before the drugs they probably would have not taken them at all because they would have not got the chance to be with the ppl who influenced them to take it ty for reading this really long paragraph

  • 9) So are you saying that playing WoW day in and day out is healthy and those around you should change? Do you even know what your saying anymore?

    10) When playing WoW affects a family the parents can't simply stay out of it and with your statement about parenting you should know that.

    11) OWNED BITCH!!! :)

  • Since when is ANYONE ELSES BUSINESS YOURS? God damn activists, they piss me off so much, they r dead centered that they r right and always will be in a particular case. Guess what Skorpz, YOU ARE WRONG. It is up to the INDIVIDUAL to determine if their play is extreme, and if it is eventually they will cut it, but who the hell put you in charge to determine their limits? And WoW isn't the only addicting game or activity, ANYTHING in extreme is unhealthy, even excercise, so mind your own business

  • @ultimatesaged And to those who like to call each other activist...well your only giving fuel to the fire. And learn what the addiction process is you idiot. people wont quit.

    -Word's from a Drug Addict-

" Addiction will take over your life and give you mental problems. They get in the way of your friends, grades and family; and the worst part about it Miho is that the addiction will grow stronger. "

as you can see no one will never "cut it". Not even if ur the most strong minded person

  • @ipwntehblue So it's YOUR job to decide what THEY Do? You don't have the right to determine what anyone else does. Don't like it, don't play the game, don't bitch about other people doing what they want when its perfectly legal and safe with moderation. Still don't like it? Well, tough shit.

  • @ipwntehblue I lol'd. First an addiction is different than having fun. In WoW you have fun its the same as say... having fun by surfing only WoW is available to you all the time, therefore people call it an addiction. Also WoW can't give you mental problems you talk about it like a drug. Drugs you can't stop no matter what. Most people that play WoW are not so severely addicted. Yeah maybe you know a few people that over do it, but lets say 400,00 addicts out of 13 million players is not a lot.

  • 5) Everyone has desirable attributes and bringing back social etiquette you would never say those things to someones face.

    6) Your delusional if you can't realize how much is too much time but as a WoW player you would have no sense of REAL time.

    7) Players can't determine how much is too much just like criminals can't decide their own punishment.

    8) I highly doubt that you have children being a WoW addict and even if you do you CANNOT judge other peoples parenting skills.

  • Your argument is flawed in so many ways

    1) People don't always invest themselves emotionally when they do things however this comment was emotionally driven yet not all activities are driven by it.

    2) You have NO IDEA weather people in WoW are who they say they are all you have is their word when you don't know who they are.

    3) Anyone who binds themselves by social etiquette is a moron anyway.

    4) The real world is the real world WoW is a place of fantasy and shit that's life deal with it.

  • @XSkorpz There are flaws in your argument as well.

    In order:

    2) For the most part, people in wow aren't trying to establish a real world connection with you, so they usually don't tell anyone anything about themself unless someonelse asks (which also rarely happens)

    3) Wether you know it or not, you and everyone you've ever met judges people based on unwritten, non-verbal communication and social etiquette. It's just how humans are.

  • 4) To most it's a form of entertainment. For some, a coping mechanism, like drinking, drugs, crying, sleeping. They just want to take their mind off the real world for a few hours.

    5) Most don't say anything in game that we wouldn't in person.

    7) Players can tell when they've played too much, in fact they're the only ones who can. Those who care and would like to change will keep an eye on the clock or set a timer.

    9) He never said anything like that.

  • 10) How could wow possibly affect a family?

    11) PWNT NOOB!!!1!!!1!!one!!1!!

  • Thank you for finally expressing evidence that WoW is, to most, a harmless hobby, in a way that will make sense to parents.

PS-loved the choice of music! :)

  • FOR THE ALLIANCE!

  • this vid makes way too much sence. glad to see ppl putting truth out!! FTA!!!

  • lol you know this video is right about a lot...

    but..

since when do people know whats good for them?

  • @dennytothez since when do other people know whats good for you if you yourself do not know :P

  • since when do people know whats good for others?

  • Breenogg is right and im glad he made this vid, even though you should be prepared to get many negative comments on this vid. But even though it only proves who are addicted and who are not.

This video is based completely on facts, and its barely possible to say ''this is not true¨ on this vid. (exception for addicts i guess).

I played both games, but im glad i found more fun in sports and my family then sitting behind the chair all day.

Again, Thank You for making this video.

    5/5

  • @xxTormundxx stfu dude.... its not "facts" its one sided biased opinons..... and to that i say..... LEEERRROOOOOYYYYYY JEEEEEENNKKKIINNNNNNSSSSS (into your mom)

  • ya know what? who cares, its the addicts mistake, the addicts life, wow is a very fun game, but nopthing to get addicted to

  • poeple who play games for 14 hours (some longer) straight are weirdo's.

That the group the shrinks are worried about.

  • no, their dead...

  • actually the shrinks are all saying 30mins is too long lol

  • no...i play games way longer than that (i am 15) and i am totaly normal gaming addiction and playig alot of 2 diff things and poeple have no right to make people think its wrong to live their life the way they want to

  • fuck all of you haters out there. this guy is speaking the truth, are you going to tell Michael Jordan that he wasted his life throwing a ball at a basket? no, because he didnt. he enjoyed it and so he did it. he made his money doing what he loves. i know people who make money JUST by playing and selling WoW char.s , and make a comfortable lifestyle at that. why is guy #2 not allowed to life his way when you dont get upset at MJ? it is ridiculous. Breenogg i thank you for this video

  • Comment removed

  • technically they're not selling the chars they're selling the time invested into the chars or the account info. Blizzard owns all the characters on every account. so selling them is "stealing" and commiting "fraud" as far as blizzard is concerned. It's also against their EULA which every user has to agree to in order to play the game.

i don't know of any cases where this has been brought to court yet but im sure it will happen eventually.

  • Lol, it's so easy to quit wow, ive quit already and it was easy.. This video is shit and unreal. It's just a fun, time - consuming game. Yes, it costs money but if you like it then play it. And yes, it can be addicting but you have to learn how to control it.

Peace, just wanted to say that and also i bet that crackhead who made this video is addicted to wow/drugs/beer/smoking (ect) Idk, he probably fails at life anyways..

  • gcmmagic,time-consuming depends on the amount of time someone is sitting behind a chair. And its easy for you to say (happy for you though) as someone who played WoW for more then 2 years (for example) will disagree with that statement, as WoW has become a piece of the persons life.

  • lol this game is bunk

  • i love wow

  • WOOOW this video is very good

  • If there are people who want to quit listen to this:

Quitting is simple, and it is not as hard as it sounds. It's like smoking, you always want more, more and more. So the easiest way to quit is by not quitting on the spot. I personally play WoW, and I feel it has lost my interest 50%. So, what I do is take regular breaks so I get back into the game. But, of course to quit you also take regular breaks for it to be not as tough, and well let's say "HARD" to quit. After a few breaks, just stop.

  • y his right live long live free live strong :D KEWL

  • Wow = Cyber Drug

  • wow so true

u meet like 100 times more REAL ppls in WoW than i real life

AND in real life u can be ugly by nature and ppls hate u OR u can be epic geared warrior and ppls love u.

chose w/e u want dudes but sometimes WoW is better (joke attempt lol)

  • FAIL

  • yeah

  • i used to play wow but i quit but. . . i still have the problem that i cant stop watching wow VIDS on youtube it makes somewhat calm and remember the fun i had while i still had the chance to do it before i quit

  • then u gotta get back to wow asap!

  • hahaha I play WoW too it`s cool !

  • i havent played wow in like a month but i want to cus i bought WOTLK

  • Right on brother.

  • its all about moderation as long as you don't let it take over your life by playing for 20 hours and sleeping for 4 your fine. WoW is one of the best games out there there is gonna be addicts to it no matter what just like with every other video game.

  • How does 8hrs on the weekends sound? lol, For me its about 8 hrs a lvl... 76-80 is gona be a bitch

  • I havent played this game in like 6 months but now that WoTlK is out I really want to play again

  • So basicly I totaly agree with this dude

  • Ok you can make friends over this game in-fact people have gotten married because of it started dating etc and yall saying its your life do with it what you wanna do then stfu about it being addicitng and stop being hyprocities you do what you say people shouldnt do people can work it out overtime like they always have

  • fuck any one else just do what YOU want to do and if it's play WOW do it, if its eat shit do it, if its go and hit a few home runs do it, it's YOUR life and dont let any one else fuck it up!

  • I dont see a down side to playing wow, in fact it increased my social contact, and i made a heap of new friends off it, like when i went to a new uni course, the group i was with had nothing in common, then someone dropped a comment about going home and leveling their warrior, ends up everyone in the group played or had played wow, and it gave us all a common topic of interest. Why is it that the majority of people are always judged by the actions of the minority?

  • so true. live your life, hard or easy =]

P.S: wtf is the music? ITS AWESOME

  • The music is "We're not going to take it" by Twisted Sister. One of the bands targeted as being "bad for children" in the early 80's the same way WoW is being targeted now days. Like the Rock Music from the 80's, WoW (and MMOs in general) will stop being targeted when the next thing that the younger generation enjoys that the older generation can't grasp comes along. What really sucks is the people targeting WoW now are those who defended bands like Twisted Sister back then.

  • breenogg i seriously doubt whether you actually believe what you're saying, cut down your WoW hours and stop being paranoid about people who are trying to help you.. dont you realise that your brain reacts significantly to everything that it experiences? You could convince yourself that WoW is real life if you aren't careful, dont laugh i know people that this has happened to!

  • Guys noones going to read you comments gtfo

  • Yeah, well all that AND if you're sitting at home (kids to parents) it's not like you're out doing drugs, going to parties getting drunk, or out having sex every other weekend. That crap is more deadly (STD's are BoP) than anything WoW can throw at you. I read this in another post: If you aren't failing at life (lol) what's wrong with a little bit of WoW? (or something like that) I go to school and I suddenly have a topic to talk to people about and stuff so... yeah. +Thumbs up if you agree.+

  • Just learn to prioritize. Do your Homework first or make sure you have time to do homework BEFORE it's due. Once you finish all your tasks, your free time is YOUR free time, do whatever you want with it.

  • I agree

  • @Drgmaster909 people have sex everyday

  • @Drgmaster909 HAHAHA! std's are BoP EPIC!

  • @Drgmaster909 the point of this video is to tell people that the mmorpg's are getting a hold of people's minds. Notice how pissed you'll get after reading this comment. Notice what your defending and clearly your defending your addiction. Oh and saying "what's wrong with a little bit of WoW" is like saying "whats wrong with a little bit of METH".

  • @ipwntehblue Yes except meth actually screws with brain functions, reducing motor skills and impairing verbal learning. There's also severe functional changes in areas of the brain associated with emotion and memory, accounting for many of the emotional and cognitive problems observed in meth abusers. Physical side effects include wakefulness, increased fidgeting, decreased apatite, rapid heart rates, irregular heart beat, etc. And I'm not mad at all, we're 2 people discussing opposing views.

  • @ipwntehblue Also, saying "What's wrong with a little bit of WoW" = "What's wrong with a little bit of meth" is way off base. Meth, as I stated, screws with you in so many ways. Yeah, I am addicted, but there's worse things to be addicted to. You can't honestly believe being addicted to Video Games is as bad as being addicted to drugs or alcohol. WoW, Call of Duty, Halo, all of those MMOs are still places for friends to get together online and interact. $15 for 1 month play or $100+ at a bar...

  • well addiction to games is a problem, but it is small, sure alot of kids play but its only a real problem when you play so much you die from lack of sleep food and all that, which ive only heard happen twice, and ive found that gaming helps your personality, not a study or anything, but it gives you another chance with a clean slate to act the way you want,i play games alot, im addicted to gamin, not one game itself, but its makes me more socialm example, go to a buddys house and chill with halo

  • I can tell u i was "addicted" i used to play for 10 hours a day now i play like 1 hour a week lol its very ez to quit because it gets boring ez aswell

  • first of all you CAN get rid of roaches. and thats it..

  • I dont think u shuld compare wow to drugs dude.. its just a game like halo or super mario pl play it for enjoyment so stfu guys its not addiction its a hobbie

  • guy you can compare this to drugs ppl lose there jobs over this game cuz of how addicting it is jest like drugs

he has the greatest point in the world your going to live you life how you want and NOONE should have a say but you.

  • Lol, Jgamer509, you obviously didn't have much control over your life and were so weak minded you'd get that obessed with what happened in a game.

If a game gets stressful...turn it off.

  • Jgamer509,

    its called "self-control"

    moron...

  • tbh you cant class this as a proper addiction, its a very fun game but if your playing it say 10 hours a day, you can easily stop playing it that long with simple things. Such as go out with mates, play football, rugby etc. Or read a book, study etc. Dont mean you have to stop playing this game all together, just means your not playing as much of it

  • Might as well not pay their game if u got a problem, and if they can pay it themselves, all activists and peeps who know nothing about it, you may as well just fuck off.

  • I did use to be addicted when it was released at first, when I was raiding MC, AQ, Naxx etc, that is, as I wasn't more then about 15, 16 then. I was addicted, my friends were - so wot? The annoying thing was the other peeps blaming the game if for example i screwed up at an exam or if I was mean etc. What they wouldn't have get - it had nothing to do with WoW or gaming in general. So parents, if you expect your children to remain the same 8 year olders who only listen to YOU-your mistake.

  • i play wow alot, i think im addicted to it lol. But what really pisses me off is people who blame other things for there addictivness :S. Also it pisses me off wen people compare it to a proper drug, cocaine, heroic etc. People who are addicted to those drugs got it alot worse than a wow addict.

  • thank you to the person who made this video...because hes right there are some people whos social lives are judged because of what they do and the way they act but in WoW no one cares about that stuff and they can be themselves and no one cares. but for the people who say WoW makes you get bad grades its not the game its that person choice to not do their work and go and have fun and hes right life is WAY too short to not have all the fun you can so stfu about people who play WoW "too much"

  • and i totally agree wit you on that one, it's what you make of it. some people make it to be their life, some make it to be their hobby.

  • activists always consists of a few thousand retards who can be arsed to camp outside government until they get what they want but they are fucking crazy if they think this will work vs. wow they can have a few thousand because WE the WORLD OF WARCRAFT PLAYERS... WE NUMBER INTO THE... MILlIONS!!!!

  • what is the name of that song ? :)

  • and really this guy is absolutely right...most of those people who say that WoW is ruining lives and causing teenage suicide are too afraid to admit their own faults so they attack blizz

that kid in china obviously had a social issue of some kind to cause him to act so extreme at the fact they wouldn't let him in a guild. and they are suing blizz for it? they should have noticed this behavior in their child to begin with instead of assuming that WoW made him kill himself.

  • it doesn't matter, WoW was a stimulus for the kid, and then something went awry and he killed himself over the game... wether you like it or not, he did kill himself over WoW - there's no two ways about it.

  • oh yes its very evident he killed himself over WoW, but its still not blizzard's fault

they made th egame so people could have fun, not so depressed teens could kill themselves

WoW is a good game and im tired of people trying to say that its some sort of intrument of evil.

  • Hey, a little question, does anyone else find it stupid that my father will let me play other MMOs like AoC and guild wars, and first person shooters and stuff like that, i spend allot of time gaming, yeah so what. But he thinks WoW is too addictive, i really dont understand, i wanty to play WoW, ive had WoW in the past but i got one bad grade and wtf he took it away, but he lets me paly other MMOs, i dont get it.

  • Thank you, someone who doesn't think if you play more than a hour a day your an addict.

  • wow nice job great song...

  • awesome vid

  • u deserve a cookie

  • now im even more addicted :(.

    - you cant leave it. you cant leave it.

  • This isn't a video saying WoW is better than life. It's just showung that the people who blame WoW for people being addicts are idiots, and it is the person who is truly in control. If they like WoW, then they choose to play it. It doesn't shoot tendrils out of the computer or disk and grab you and pull you in. It is YOU who decides to like WoW more than going out and having fun with friends. Some people have such HORRIBLE LIVES that they go to WoW like a vacation. Maybe to get away from it all.

  • i wasn't reading the text just listening to the awesome song!

  • good work

  • i still can't understand how people destroy their lifes through a game.... oO there was time i was playing Mu Lineage and WoW at the same period of my life but still i wasn't affected by them....

  • Nice vid nice message keep going dude

  • netraven for some people the game can be better than real becourse some people get mocked in scholl every day i have benn in school for 9 years and all the years i have been mocked and provoked do u think i would like to say yay i am so happy =D no so in game u can ignore other peoples so for me wow is better, course i would be who ever i want to be (in some restriction) but thats how it is. i actually think that if i didnt have games i could just go and get suecidal thoughts so bad is it for me

  • ok... so, if you think you have all the answers, can you tell me why a kid jumped out of a second story window after playing WoW for 36 hours straight? There are such people who ARE addicted to this game. I was for a bit, and it hurt my grades... then I quit the game and played a school sport... much better grades and I'm a lot happier...

  • decree63.. that kid jumped because he got all butt hurt that some guild wouldn't let him in..he obviously had a social problem to begin with much like not being accepted in reality..

and as for the grades i play WoW alot and make As and Bs in school so that was obviously you're problem.

  • You rule Breenog , sure made some people i know stfu , thanks ! :D <3

  • Brilliant, 5/5

  • I truly cannot believe somebody made a video as to why WoW is better than life...

    My.

    God.

Fair enough, people play the game and have lives. But it being better than life?

  • i was more addicted then i am now. And really i am proud of it. World of warcraft gave me allot new things and skills... I know english better, i am more patient now after raiding 4-6 hours and not getting anything. I really love that game and i am advisor of one great guild and we are talking over ventrilo and know each other very well. Like i am now inloved i play less. If i wish i can get off that game when i want. I call Warcraft more a hobby then addiction.

  • Yes i do stay in and go on a raid, i love being a raid leader, tbo its given me good leadership skills at dealing with people you realy have no power over. I stay in becosue my firends (im 17) arnt mature anuff yet, once they stok filling thier lungs with smoke and poisening thier bodys with alcholo, making fools of themsleves and sleeping with eachothers GF/BF then ill be more sosiable. being addicted to a game is a hell of a lot better than what the magority of children do in thier spair time.

  • Firstly i am proud to say i am an addict, ive been playing cicne wow began and my Xfire has recorded that i have played 1,800 hours (ish). Despite this im a hell of a lot fitter than my firends, i do a lot of sports, swimming running, cyceling and martial arts. the games addictive yes, but to people with an addictive personality. like the video says, the people who kill themsleves or others over a game arnt right in the head to start with, first bad break up and out the window they would fly.

  • the smartest video i have seen about wow addiction

  • 1 thing that annoys the hell out of me, is that people say *can you quit when ever you want to* of course we answer yes, cause if we wanted to we would, and then you turn around and say that *oh because you sed that ur addict or then why dont you quit* and its kinda like, well cause we dont want to at the moment, we arent done playing the game. so yeh like this vid said, keep outta other people's business. we can do what we want

  • i play wow and i am not addicted i have to say. ok sometimes i play up to 5 hours on saturdays or sundays but then only if my rl and/or my "wow friends" are online. but i never feel like i can*t stop.if a kid spends too much time playng the parents should react. everybody should be able to choose their own life and not live the life of others.

  • Brilliant video.

  • Just a question, have you ever played WoW, if you have then w/e opinions are opinions. But some psycholoists think that video games are a good release, that way kids can let go of that anger in a way that dosnt hurt other. Another thing how do you know WoW doesnt help self esteem. Think of the people who play wow, the people with out lives is the stereotye, so people make fun of them and such in reality but in WoW they can be the incredibly strong and rather important warrior in a raid.

  • And another thing you talk about wasted time, what you think it helps anyone that you type about the evil of MMO's hardly, your wasting your time just as much as you think WoW players are wasting theres. And this goes to the people who think WoW is detrimental to health not the writer of this video. And in case this is messed up the message below by me is the first in this rant type thingy.

  • this video is mostly true exept that the ppl who call themselfs addicts are just w8ing for some1 to free them. i belive differently for myself i am a world of warcraft addict and proud of it. my addiction to it shows and enhances my commitment to my short and long term goals in the game. i guess my terms isnt realy addiction but in itsself commitment but whatever it is i like it and im proud. WoW FTW, Addiction FTW

    Night Elves FTW, Druids FTW,

  • did you NOT just read what the video said pay attention you retard

  • YE YE!!!!

  • Yeah got lost lol

  • this is true. as much as adults choose to beleive its wrong for chilren to sit and play games instead of going out they need to acept that in todays world.... thats what people do, yes some more than others but still everyone does it at some point!

  • This makes me wanna play again, lol

  • i'm playing wow but sorry buddy go read psychological book you are way out of the place sorry to tell you that.

  • Some very very good points my friend but I can only agree with you too a fault. I have seen some awesome and very cool people turn into reclusive, apathetic people who just don't care about anyting but the game. I play WoW also but I try to limit myself although it doesn't work very well...... but other than that great video!

  • All I can say about this video... Touche'! Right on the button!

Its none of those Anti-Everything peoples buisness to get into yours.

They get in your face, tell them to go away, and if they dont, let someone of authority handle it (if its outside, a cop, in work, your immediate supervisor, Parent well lets hope it doesnt get to that!)

  • wow is increbily hard to succede in without being social.

  • Diablo 3 will follow the same RPG mindless killing as the last two, it will not be a MMO.

  • i need to show my bitch of a mom this video, thank you for clearing up that wow is not the only reason people are having problems in life.

  • It was stupid to say antisocial behavior is not affected by anything and is either there or isn't. And I'm sure activists everywhere will smile with understanding when they watch an undead air guitar.

  • 1:58- Sure, Bash a dead kid and say hes mental you jerk! He played for over 36 hours NON STOP. The thing is he too overwhelmed to think and jumped to get rid of the misserability.. Still youre the bigest jerk. Next time you talk about that poor, my aged kid SAY HIS NAME, you wuss! Live fast, Live hard, DIE SOON.. True?

  • So say the real world is full of shallow bla bla, bad people. Are you saying that in WoW everyone is kind nice.... Dude. Ive met more jerks on WoW than ive seen on TV or ever met! The world Of Warcraft is full of the same people you can meet for real so if everyone in the world is bad. WoW wont make them good!

  • a very well thought video thank you for that

  • m only addicted to is my Girlfriend!

  • Song?

  • not every1 who plays is addicted moron you suck cock like once a week but your not addicted and want to suck cock everyday like your mom do you? now your mom is addicted to cock sucking she be on that shit all the time

  • This is a good one, you rock at philosophy!

  • Activists? Wtf does that have to do with WoW?

  • I h8 activists the only way 2 get rid of them is 2 pretend ur addictions gone and the second they walk out the door start playing again or kill them i prefer the second 1 but thats wrong anyway i think activists parents should mind there own bussiness because WoW is like real life You can make friends, enemys, fall in love,GET MARRIED, kill people, make and spend money, have you noticed mounts are like CARS, as long as you are making alot of money in real life it doesnt matter if ur adictd, bye now

  • Lol, this kid calls ppl nerds and fags yet all he has is cartoons and shit on his profile.. are you sure you don't suck the big one yo
