I really want this game, but I don't have either the PSP or XBOX360...I'm a sad panda. BUT! Once I get a job, I'm saving up to buy a PSP and The Idolm@ster SP Perfect Sun. This game looks really fun.

PSP isn't region locked, it will play fine on US PSP (I bought the game) many portable devices usually don't have the region locks their big brother consoles do (DS included)

I picked up Perfect Sun this summer while I was traveling (¥2999 in Kyoto) and will probably be cheaper, even used (I grabbed a used PSP saved me $100 off a new one! lol) ...loads of fun!
