@AddictedToFries Except for us... as I find this game way more difficult with a second player. Splits resources, and unless the other player is knowledgeable, the bumbling about by the two of you will get a lot of victims killed.

This game was great as a kid, then slightly more great when in highschool i realized you could download an emulator and the rom in my science class and played it during class. I beat this, and legend of zelda a link to the past. Great educational times

Man I loved playing this game back in the game on Genesis. I never liked using passwords since you started out with nothing and in the thick of things. Also always grabbed everything possible and always tried to conserve the monster potion. That stuff was damn near sacred when me and my friends played. Never used it unless it was a dire emergency.

I used to love this game. In the UK, it was known as just "Zombies!". Played it with my brother a hell of a lot, you're right though, it is easier playing solo. He was younger, so automatically kind of sucked.

@commodore64fan This game is many things (ie difficult, unfair), but boring and lame are not descriptors. It is a hectic, continual action ride that brings in nearly every monster imaginable to try and stop your rescue efforts.

Me and my playing pal found this to be too restrictive in 2p... the exploration aspect just isn't there. Both players should have a general idea of where to go and in what order for the 2p mode to work fluently.

The biggest problem with getting too many items is that it will really screw you in the later levels when you have to act quickly to rescue the one or two people in those levels.
