  • What a fun song! I had never heard of it before I saw the vastly talented Ben Vereen sing it & dance up a storm to it in the 1975 Barbara Streisand movie "Funny Lady". Thanks for sharing!  :)

    I have never seen all of "Funny Girl"; only bits & pieces here & there on TV over the years. As far as I know, this song ("Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie") is not featured in "Funny Girl", only in the sequel, "Funny Lady". But, never having seen the whole flick, I of course could be wrong.
